Everything Sue Bird said was FACTS and to this day it irritates me that they still can't get the media coverage/corporate sponsorship they earn and deserve. At times I feel like the media does not care at all about female athletes. All Summer all you have been hearing about Kyrie/KD/Lebron/Deshaun Watson/NFL/NBA/MLB etc, especially on ESPN, where is the same coverage for these ladies that had an entire WNBA season, now playoff is going on and they still can't get First Take to make them a topic on the network, yes Stephen A Smith calling you out. Anytime you watch these sports network they throw crumbs at these women and something nothing at all. Keep shinning ladies I have always been a fan and will always be.
to deny the patriarchal society we live in that automatically disregards and mistreats women in all aspects, including sports, is mistaken. women at all levels have lacked a variety of support to get a culture that we see now. it's not about one entertainer. it's about the deeply rooted misogyny. the history of that is all there and factual. until recently, during NCAA tournaments the women's teams weren't even given enough money for hotels. they had to sleep on court floor and in tour buses. when you're set back for decades bc of your gender it takes decades to come back from that. these women didn't have the resources, money, coaching staff, medical staff etc that men have always had. in the 1970's women had to play in skirts and at half court! there was no WNBA and future in the game for these women to see and look up to. rather than saying it's about entertainment which these women have been entertaining for years - did you ever watch Staley, Swoops or Lobo?! recognize the reality - sexism. period.
Of course I watched lobo. I’m from Ct. The reality is tho is most fans of men’s sports is men, which some females. Female sports need a majority female fan base which you lack. All you woman complain but I bet you’ve never been to any games. I have.
I totally think that Sue and Diana are great and amongst the greatest. But I wish when they talk about the deaths of Breanna Taylor they would also talk about all those blacks who were killed by other blacks and who represent a far greater number of blacks killed than those killed by police. Don’t their lives count?
They do, but i hope you realize this all ties together. Violence within communities is caused by poverty, a lack of education, a lack of resources etc. and all that is related to systemic racism. Them using Breonna Taylor as a face united all those things, not just police violence.
Ah so you want to conflate the conduct of criminals with that of the police. I think their point is that the police should hold themselves to a much higher standard. Also please educate yourself on why there is lack of wealth leading to poverty in the black community and how the black community has traditional and you may find some rationale to the black on black crime you speak of.

Trans players? So... its really not a woman's league then...
Thank god for Caitlin Clark. Is the only correct answer for women’s basketball.
🥱 Please she’s about to be humbled. Nobody is letting her shoot logo 3’s left and right at the pro level. Just remember you heard it here and from D.
Paige bueckers? Aubrey griffin? Angel Reese? Like actually think about the people in women’s basketball
