  • This 40 minute nightlife walk on Waikiki's Nightlife was taken on Saturday, August 27, 2023 beginning at 9:30 pm local time. If you love people watching, this Waikiki Walking POV is for you. The walk begins at the Starbucks on 2552 Kalakaua Ave, inside the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa in Honolulu, HI. Then, I take a detour through the International Market Place before heading back out onto Kapahulu Ave. I finally turn around at Beach Walk Ave before heading back to the Starbucks on the opposite side of Kapahulu Ave. Enjoy!

I was walking there in October 1980....exactly this way...spend 3 weeks in Honolulu for 39:47 holiday...Visited several times the "Red Lion" Club...I remember this Club was located in Kuhio Street going some stairs down to the entrance....very nice to remember

I have been to Waikiki on 3 occasions with the family between 2012 to 2017. What I notice in your walk tour is a lot of shops closed after 9:30pm. I recall seeing all retail shops open passed 10pm back then. What's happened ?

Who knows? Maybe the pandemic changed things or people in general stopped hanging out so late. Thanks for the watch and comment.

I know right? You won't find me shopping at those stores. I reserve my money for travels. 🙂
