I’d put the pedigree above, even as a heel finisher. The rock bottom, walls of Jericho… if you’re talking just 2000, I’d put the crippler cross face more over as well. The swanton bomb too. I’d put him top 10 of 2000 over moves. Shame they didn’t reinforce the move as a dominant finisher, which would have worked. Seems they always used the worm as a “signature move” meaning a kick out was almost inevitable. Definitely fit the bill as a finishing move

Knowing that these guys weren’t even close backstage just goes to show you how committed and invested they were to their gimmicks and characters. The fans legit thought that they were best friends.
As far as Brian Lawler goes, it sucks how he went out. I always knew that he was on some kind of drugs, it was pretty evident. What people aren’t talking about is the amount of pressure he must’ve been under constantly being reminded that he’s Jerry The King Lawler’s son. Scotty just said that he loved Grandmaster Sexay more than Brian Lawler and I kinda see why. Not being associated with his dad, he was his own man as Grandmaster, he had his own identity. Rest In Peace.

Damn, kinda surprising they weren't close, or even became close. But then again, New Age Outlaws said the same thing - that they weren't friends at all and only became friends over the years. I guess when they realized their entire career is with each other, they might as well have each other's backs elsewhere.
I think Too Cool would've arrived at that same point, but it takes two to build a relationship and I think Brian just didn't care anymore to do something mature like this, because he was down on himself. Sad ending to a life.

You always just assume that tag teams are like good friends. It's so wierd to hear that they didn't really travel or hang together much.

Bob Holly and Crash Holly weren’t that close outside the ring either. Crash was a party animal like Brian, and Bob was more country and southern like Scotty.

Always was a big fan of Scotty 2 Hotty it's a shame that he was paired up with Brian Christopher I mean the kid had all the talent in the world but he was a ticking time bomb I'm not going to talk bad about him but I think Scotty is it good person and had his head in the right place and he also is very talented and very over with the fans even though he never got farther than the midcard it's a shame I don't think they ever had a tag team run together did they I mean they weren't putting on bangers like Edge and Christian The Hardy Boys and The Dudley Boyz and I think a lot of it has to do with the company not being able to have put their faith in Brian Christopher Scotty 2 Hotty sounds like a really good dude just from the people he hung out with Kane and Edge they aren't the party animal type and it seems like Scotty from his character was a party animal but from his real-life sounds like just the opposite of the Scotty 2 Hotty character where is he said Grandmaster sexy Brian liked him more than he liked Brian Lawler

They did have a run they had the tag titles a few times and Scotty used to be a jobber before too cool so Vince did not really like him as much as the others so he would not have made it any farther than he did so him being with GMS did not hold him down since without him he would have never held any title due to Vince not favoring smaller guys so it ended good for Scotty and still Rest In Peace GMS.
