subhanAllah! what a great benefit. i have always felt that only those belonging to the board of scholars in saudi arabia who have studied islam for AGES should be given the title of sheikh. unfortunately we have individuals these days calling random speakers as sheikh just because they have a degree from the islamic universities in makkah/medina or address a crowd as seen on the socalled *Islam Channel* here in the UK
