Tip if you have missing poster and you do a victory lap you won’t unlock it on the victory lap
ATENTION
if you don t have the afterbirth dlc this will not work so the method for rebirth is:
1. Isaac must die to a Mulliboom in The Basement or The Cellar.
2. Magdalene must die to her own bomb in The Caves or The Catacombs.
3. Judas must die to any Mom attack in The Depths or Necropolis. Being killed by any monster spawned by Mom will spoil the entire attempt at unlocking The Lost.
4. Azazel must die to any Satan attack in Sheol. Being killed by The Fallen in the boss room or a Kamikaze Leech will spoil the entire attempt at unlocking The Lost. Being killed by using The Bible doesn't count as a Satan kill.
*The Lost will be unlocked after dying to Satan's attack.*
Notes on unlocking The Lost
Multiple lives (for example, obtained by Dead Cat) must be depleted before the intended death, as deaths while having extra lives do not count as a game loss.
Having any mods installed that triggers the mod flag will make The Lost unobtainable. To fix this problem, all mods have to be removed.
The game cannot be won as any character required to unlock it when unlocking it.
Champion versions of monsters and bosses will count for the death criteria.
Runs can always be safely reset.
Mom's Foot's stomp counts as explosive damage, which makes Pyromaniac a problematic choice when trying to complete Step 3.
Picking the wrong character while unlocking him doesn't mess up the unlocking process.[1]
Quitting and Restarting the game in the middle of the unlocking process doesn't mess it up.[2]
Picking up Lazarus' Rags, Judas' Shadow, or Ankh should be avoided. These items will revive the current character as a different one and therefore prevent the current unlock-step from being fulfilled.

I found the missing poster but then couldn’t find a sacrifice room and died. Rip
This was kinda funny to get him, if you look at me from a side. It is like:"oh, holy mantle, brimstone, mom's knife nice"
After finding poster:"get from my way, you all! Steam sale, dolar, d6! Who cares?"
Later:"I cant find sacrafice room? Oh, come on 3 floors without it! There were so many of them before!! I want to die so much!"
When you find it with best defensive items and aacrafice room:" Angels, bombs, soul hearts, keys this useless stuff, which just stops me from dying!"
When finally dies:"Oh, yeah! I heard abaut your d4 and holy mant... wait wait wait, where are they?"
Checks wiki:"almost 900 coins? Now i want to die again."

False. Why would you give the wrong answer?! The only point of needing to beat the lamb with isaac is to unlock the missing poster.
I play as Judas,i got a missing poster and i die in sacrifice room and i dont unlock The lost..

then if i kill the lamb with Isaac i unlock Missing Poster with Isaac forever and later i dead in sacrifice room with it i unlock The Lost in Afterbirth? but i have killed the lamb yet and i unlocked Missing Poster

I died with the Missing Poster in the Sacrifice Room (no seed) but nothing happened, only in my last will appeared a jigsaw puzzle piece... Anyone can help me? (Note, this happened sometimes, like 3)
you have to die as Maggy, Azael,Isaac, and Judas which will add pieces

It is quite rare. Also it can be only obtained once you beat the lamb with isaac and upon finishing a room.

How do I get to the lamb?
You need to beat saitan a lot of times.(about 6 times)
Dara45 Sm after beating satan 5 times, when you kill mom an item should appear called "the negative", take it and beat mom's heart, then go down in sheol and beat satan and a passage to the dark room should appear, and then you can kill the lamb

Dara45 Sm Kill Satan 5 times and pick up The Negative (after moms boss fight) and go to shell and kill Satan. Go into the chest and voila
Ik it's 2 years later, but i just got the game, did like 4 runs and in the 5th I got to womb 2, second room I visit is a devil room with a hatch, I got to sheol for the first time and in sheol 2 i found a hatch to the lamb's world

You must kill isaac 5 times for the chest and satan 5 times for the dark room. When you do it choose polaroid or negative after killing mother.. When you choose polaroid you must jump into the chest after battle with isaac. Negative work like polaroid but you must kill satan. Sorry for my english im from poland

+Draken drak Type on yt how to fill up your greed machine fast video by kraken club or sumthing btw you don't relly need the chaos card if you're op enough and wreck ultra greed and well i almost take ALWAYS isaac in greed but i did it with azazel ( it was my first greed and i got ludovico so i camped in a corner and put the tear on him and then i got lilith :)
