Not understanding that comment about being ashamed of a beautiful piece of fertile land/space with natural foods all around. The place is not maintained after many years of not having a care taker, which is a natural progress. What to be ashamed about?
Back in the days that was a beautiful house. Its concrete not board or ply. For it to be abandon so long it is still in good condition. If it was not occupied it would be totally covered in bush. Big up Adrian for not being ashamed of your roots. Your aunts should not be ashamed either. They should look at where they are today and just give thanks❤
Great advice. No other race sell land but us. Land is more precious than anything and there should be a law that non Jamaicans can’t buy no land here. We can’t buy land in other people countries.

I think it's absolutely beautiful that you can see where your precious mother was raised.and what makes it even more beautiful to me is the fact that your mother is still alive where you can talk to her about it! That's great! Positivity peace and love ♥️
After 40× yrs don't expect to see what you left mother if you wanted a better condition hse look after don't forget where you come from be thankful the hse is still standing.
Thanks for sharing. It is so humbling to see where your family came from to see where they are now. It is a blessing, but I bet you they had the best childhood full of love.
Adrian, I just stumbled across your channel and decided to watch. Never knew where you were going but your journey looked interesting so I decided to watch especially when you said that you were going to visit the home your mother grew up in. I was intrigued at that. Then I heard the name Clones mentioned and Chudleigh then Malton. My heart leapt as my mother was from Malton and as children my brother and I would spend summer holidays there, This was such a joy as we are both now in our 70s but we will never forget the fun we had just roaming the countryside. Bless you
How she expect the house to be in a better condition after 50 years no one went back to see about it it’s in a very good condition we lest our good house no one lived in for only 20 years when we returned to to put my aunt to rest there was not even a wall standing she should be grateful it still standing she sounds emotional

This is what you call living in paradise. Some people go foreign and is ashamed to go back where they grow up. Lovely land family should fix up the house . I am from Trinidad 🇹🇹 grow up in country living in England and no where is better than yard . Living in foreign is not paradise. This is beautiful
Only Jamaicans dont value lands in the country. Canadians value the country you want to see the beautiful houses they make and live in the country parts between pines and buses ect.... And there's no electric light on the streets. Yet they have beautiful, beautiful houses some far from the roads in the middle of pines trees and bushes. Jamaican need to be more appreciative and intelligent, we too dam stupid. The greatest material blessing we have here on this beautiful creation is land. Thank you very much my HEAVENLY FATHER for one of your precious 💞🌹💐🙏 BLESSINGS !! LAND.
Memories my neighbor, still feeling it after all these years..me still walk my school route everytime I visit.....my grandchildren called it hiking.😊😊🇯🇲🇺🇲💯👍🏼
Proud and Pride are cousins. You should be proud of your beginning. You've come from a heritage and we are happy to connect with you on it. Looking at it any other way is pride and we have to be careful of the cousin.
I enjoyed your video sharing a part of your history is very important as you say in order to appreciate where you come from to move forward your grandfather did the best he could for his family and we must be grateful that land and house has a lot of potential if only the family could excavate the land and add on to the house and go up that would be a beautiful place but then it takes money also and to build up the road. Don't feel ashamed or no way about where your family comes from a lot of people wish they had that and wish that they had something to say that their family belonged. And it was nice to see the back roads and the back areas of Jamaica.

Your mother and aunts dem lucky Dem ashamed of where dem came from. I am living in New York now, but I am seeking to buy land somewhere far into the wilderness like that where I can just live a peaceful life away from the noise and hustle. Did you notice that the rich men understand the importance of land, and that's why they went to live so far away where the land is plentiful. Poor people likes to live on top of each other in polluted cities, and we claim that we make it. The real deal is, Land is the Base of ALL power. Without land, you don't have nothing! If the owner wishes to take back their land, you will have to figure out how to get that house off the land. This idea goes with everything else in life, because everything is built from the ground, up. Anyone who owns the land, has the power.

Why would he be ashamed?
Never will be
We have absolutely no control over our beginnings. What we do with our lives is largely up to us.
I know what you're trying to say. However, it's not humbleness but "humility" 😅😂
