Let me clear up some things about this game. This is a completely PHYSICS based game similar to a sim which isn’t designed to have storytelling or adventure based activities. This entire release was also pushed very hard from the people which made this game come out before mash likely wanted it to. Over the next couple years it WILL improve. With the people saying this game looks and feels janky compared to pipe, I understand the movement is a little sensitive and the spin physics could use some work but also realize this game literally just came out and people haven’t had time to figure everything out and make the game look smooth. Try and remember what everyone’s first day playing pipe looked like
You sound like Easy Day and Creature shills combined. Poor devs.. Wahhhh. The game is $60 ($79.95 yesterday lol) in my country and arguably should be early access. The jank is in the physics and the controls. It would not have the reviews it does on Steam if it met the expectations of the Pipe community and there are very few of them that watch NS.
PS I was a Dev doing VFX for feature films so save the poor dev talk. Your excuses for a game being mid on release are not warranted when it is a full price release.

I doubt any kind of pressure except moral and financial. Look at team cherry as an example of how it can be handled.

Firstly i had no idea this was a full 1.0 release. That is unacceptable. But for its price it is diabolical. Dragons dogma 2, Rise of shonin, Elden Ring etc etc were all cheaper than this pre alpha state release. This is an awful decision. What a terrible mistake.

Good to see a skater play a bmx game, but not suppriced as due to how great it is. I ride bmx but play skate as well, such a clean game for skatebording. Million times better then tony hawk

My biggest issue with this game is it feels more bmx vert-park not bmx street... the map has so much potential but it feels horrible ... there is no flow from spot to spot. I spend more time cranking around looking for something to ride than in real life skate and sessions actually have the street-city vibe that I thought was going to be in here. There is not enough spots to express creativity and that's what makes street riding so individualistic. It for sure feels like it's a early access game. The 54$ price tag and 7 years of waiting I assumed the game would of been way more evolved than pipe but at times it just feels worse but the potential is there. If I knew for sure he was going to be adding a ton of updates and or put some early access tag on the game I'd be content but part of me feels like mash is good with the state of the environment and I'm not. Hopefully some mods will make some actual street maps

why is my game in slowmotio?????????? anyone knows its in slowmotion when its not and when i toggle and untoggle slowmotion nothing happens..

because the game is not complete and heavily overpriced. Yes he lowered the price but it´s still too much for the current state of the game. Plus people kinda expected to get a discount if you own pipe

def wanna play this, looks really great. but can we all agree that inverting the session marker controls is absolutely unnecessary and actually a very silly decision? you're not setting yourself apart with a new interpretation or innovation on a gaming feature. you're confusing players by doing the exact opposite of what people are used to with no rhyme or reason
this type of controls was in pipe bmx, previous game of the same developer, so that's a reason why he left this in new game too

I'm sure this was £40 something on release? It's now £33? I might have read it wrong. It's needs to be around the £10-£15 mark though.

Dude, you do understand that this game JUST came out, and it probably isn’t exactly finished yet since everyone was pushing mash games to release it, they are going to update it and if you don’t like it, play something else

@@WahBauarbeiter If it isn't finished it should have been released as early access instead of a full price game. I know the price was dropped but this isn't a $40 game in any way. I don't think the issue here is just the quality of the game. It's the fact that it's a game in beta that was release at full price. There was so much hype and people had been waiting years for this too. Even if everyone was pushing the developer to release it this was a bad judgment call to release it in this state. They should charge full price when it's updated instead of releasing something that might be 70% done. It JUST came out. It was JUST full price and should have JUST been a $20 early access game.
