    What an episode. Hands down best content in this genre on the net anywhere i reckon by far. Spear fishing, catch n cooks, camping, your kick back humble as dont talk too much shit like most of them lol

      I agree with you cuz, NZ is one of the only places left in the world that has fish life like the rest of the oceans used to.

      I recommend key west waterman for similar vibes - underwater commentary paired with insane spearfishing skill. For rod and reel and kayak fishing, Rokkit kit is pretty dang good too and just about the most humble guy I’ve ever seen.

    Holy crap that encounter with those bronzies was intense...nearly fell of the bed😂 Always love your videos. Cheers mate👍

    • @aleho1
      @aleho1 6 месяцев назад +2

      That was so intense with that massive kingy..to be doing that in that bit of water solo, that was not far off being a full blown shitshow…. In that current, solo with water in the goggles while hugging the catch while it’s still thrashing… while trying to swim against the current… with the bronze in a place you can’t see..
      That is heart pumping.
      Don’t do that solo people, this fella is very very experienced and manages to stay calm because he knows exactly what is going on based on experience. But don’t do this solo. ❤

    Brilliant episode for sure… takes me back to when my grandparents were light house keepers there and I was fortunate enough to do boating as a kid and visit the last keepers before the light was automated. Thanks heaps….by the way, those mozzies are brutal….they come in from grouper rock, I think when the wind is Nor westerly…they are big brutes too!

Smashing open Sea urchins is a brilliant strategy to lure in big snapper. You have a top notch channel. one of the best. Boat, tricks, and intelligence. all A plus.
