What's the internal dimensions of this unit? Width, depth and height in inches? Tray size as well? Might be good 5kg filament 3d printer drying, they are 12" diameter, 6" wide.
The number of hours of usage soon mounts up to be quite a considerable amount of money. 15 hours would be at 14p per kwh on my tariff in the UK and when you gather up the food (in this case orange slices) it isn't a great quantity. Looks more spread out on the trays. Gosh, it states 600w and now with the fan at 100w, total 700w that's a bit misleading on the Specifications.
May I ask if the dehydrator is noisy ? I heard that the mechine is very loud that people had to put them in the shed to work as they couldn't bear the loud noise?
The fan is the only moving part. It’s no louder than a typical microwave oven - maybe less. Unless you have sound sensitivity, I can’t imagine it being an issue.
Very informative.
The hubs and I just got one and I feel confident to start the process tomorrow.
i got this one brand new for 50 dollars, have a 9 tray from way back in the 70's that i still use too

Just got mine this afternoon.
Love the orange slices. I want to use them for Christmas garland.
You can do a bunch of cool things with them!

Is this dehydrator only suitable for usage in the US electrical system (110V/60Hz) or it also supports the EU's 220V/50Hz, like some devices?
