In this video we go over the Nike GT Cut Cross:
This is the newest member of the GT Cut line, coming in at $110 USD. Cushion and traction are the exact same as the GT Cut Academy - not the most responsive midsole out there, but amazing grip on dusty courts. The main difference is with the material, you get a more supportive and reinforced upper while breathability and softness both saw some improvement. You can go with your true to size in most Nike sneakers for a secure 1:1 fit. Is that material upgrade worth the 15 extra dollars? Let me know what you think in the comments!

Thanks for the review, very comprehensive, covers all the questions I had about it, I’m interested in the Sabrina 2s , what I really hate tho is Nike has never brought back the zoom strobel from the KD11s which were IMO the best cushion , would love to see them in a shoe like this

Good review. Shoes look big on you. A lot of space in the heel. I normally wear an 8.5 and the shoes are snug and hurt my old toes so I go half size up to 9 on all my new sneakers.
These are actually extremely tight lol hard to avoid misleading clips sorry I’ve been trying…
Forefoot traction tests, 90% of the shoes look like there’s heel slippage under hard stomps.

Cross is technically better, but the only difference is a small material upgrade so it depends on the prices and deals that you see I guess.

If I use a specialized pickleball gel insole, would you believe I can still feel or utilize the zoom in forefoot in the Academy ? Sorry for commenting on this video. Might get the Cross when my Academy wear down

Surprisingly, it barely picks up dust based on first impressions. Seems like Nike has improved on their translucent outsole rubber for the relatively recent releases.
Better step-in comfort than my broken in Kobe 6s 🫣. Probably the best running comfort I have felt in a long while.
Might stock up on more pairs if the Hustle 3s prove to be a bust. Wishing otherwise though, those look like the Freak 4s on steroids.

Wouldn’t be. You can go half size up too for a more spacious fit - TTS is snug.
