Sadly the BLM rounded up those gorgeous cremello colts but I was glad to read on your blog that you have adopted them and given them a forever home. Magnificent photography of amazing horses that should be allowed to remain wild.
Carol, WOW! Just beautiful! Amazing! My 'Chevy' is from McCullough Peaks, I really can see the 'atachment' there! He's a pinto with the bay, black & white colors. Keep taking these awesome pics for us! And, for our Wild Ones! xoxo Joey W.
Such magnificent presences here on Earth! Well done with the photos and the music. Inspiring. But so upsetting to see them lose their freedom because of the blind and selfish traditions of people, e.g. the livestock and hunter monopoly and other monopolies of the public lands. People need to learn to appreciate a wild-horse-containing ecosystem. This is a greatly enhanced ecosystem, or life community. Please read my book The Wild Horse Conspiracy for more on this. Available on amazon.com. Thanks
Ohhhh! Yes, I have your book and have read it several times. Very informative. I posted your book on my page this morning as a must read. Thank you so much. Very sad, but brought to light.
Carol, thank you so much for sharing some of the awesomeness of our wild horses. These herds are so beautiful. They are all special animals but you've captured (hate to use that word) some breathtaking views of these magnificent animals. It is heartbreaking for me to watch this and know these are in danger of loosing their freedom and can only imagine how it must effect you with having more of a direct connection with them. They must be saved!
Oh, snap! That’s hard to see, my girl Niagara is at 5:05 on the far right. Wish I could let her back out there, but thankful for FOAL who has done everything to minimize roundups and put an end to the use of helicopters at this HMA, if one is “deemed necessary”.
Beautiful pics, these animals are stunning!! I recently was granted permssion from MaggieJ to create some of Oregon's Wild Side's stunning stallions in wool, my newest collection of 3-Dimensional art, and I fell in LOVE with creating these horses! If you would like to view them I am at InspirationByKaren.etsy.com

I have the large grey mare from the same gather! Her father is Major and her mother Indigo. I saw Major still out there last summer, he is an old man.
