I just listened to Joe Rogan's latest episode with Will Storr, he talks about how humans chase status whatever class you are in, wether you are millionaire or middle-class we always chase a greater status towards people around us, family/work/friends. Fascinating podcast you should give it a listen, Evan! Great video as always, I enjoy these type of talks from you, very inspiring for me (I'm 28)
I personally don't care much about most material things, besides food, water, having a pc and internet. I am not a capitalist at heart, because I can see the negatives as well but it's the system we got and the good thing about it is that it motivates people/companies to innovate. If you don't play the game you can't win. Same with investing. But yeah I assume it's natural to want more once you reach a goal. Without a goal it's easy to lose motivation. But we should also strive to live in the present... Investing/trading is always about the future, but being able to be yourself in the present is priceless
Best advice i give people is always believe in yourself and set unbelievable goals but believe in yourself. A million dollars is unbelievable but it is very achievable.
