The absolute state of the US military. For whatever reason, the military police escorted him only as far as check-in instead of escorting to the gate. This left Travis completely unsupervised, which allowed him to book a guided tour of the DMZ and flee to NK instead of getting on his flight back to the states for further disciplinary action.🤦‍♂Hopefully he yelled "LEROY JENKINS!" when he bolted across the border.

He is staying in a premium hotel. With 1,000,000 million girls. He is now general with a salary of 1,00000000000000000000 dollars each minute. Yes he is a hero.
I read comments on youtube, that he is now a hero in North Korea (I think mainly from negros/black/afros I do not know what to call them) . Negro/black/afro american soliders is now dreaming on defecting to North Korea. Why did USA keep their negros/black/afros.
He is a simple 'soldier' facing criminal charges, he spend time in jail. What do you think professor. Do you think that the North Korean government will treat him differently from the 'white' Otto Warmbier ! A monkey soldier ?

Security rules created after 9/11 prevents it. No one is allowed to pass the security check unless they have a ticket and a boarding pass. Not even in a case like this. In rare cases individual airlines can issue a gate pass to allow someone to drop off an unaccompanied minor. Exceptions in other cases are extremely rare. The the only solution is to have a guard, with a ticket, escorting the person on the entire trip. Since it's expensive and time consuming it's only done when deemed necessary.

Consider him counterintuitive: considering his military history, experience in jail in South Korea, and ability to slip a flight back to the U.S. for a run across to
the boarder to the North, he might be the one who makes friends wIth “Rocket Man”. In any case l hope it works out for him, cause that was a cold blooded move. I prey for his mother to stay strong through this
