I kinda like the card display stands. I think they're cool and like the idea of putting them up with a Justice League shelf or something. But making the figures $10 more to put in the card stand is CRAZY. Those are probably like 50 cents to make. They should be free additions if they wanted to include them. At most, I think collectors editions should be 25usd msrp with the value they include right now

The whole complicated story of Hawkman was already solved. Robert Venditti made a Hawkman comic (available in trade) that has around 20 issues that explains all his past lives. Including Hawkgirl. It is an extremely well done comic.

REALLY hope we see a true classic version that has the accurate costume (e.g., no quilted diaper, etc.). Just brutal to put this out as a chase for such a beloved character.
Yes I think a classic JSA Hawkman should have been the figure. The Zero Hour colours should be a chase.
I’m pretty sure this isn’t a “classic” Hawkman, but rather a “Super Powers” platinum color variant, like Mr Freeze before him and the Wonder Woman plat coming up. I’m sure at some point we’ll get a dedicated traditional Hawkman regularly available, everyone calm your tits.
Isn’t the “Super Powers” colour scheme essentially the classic Hawkman look, though? I think the main thing is that these are the colours that most collectors would prefer to get, so it’s a bit annoying that it’s harder to find. We may or may not get another Hawkman, but I am hoping we do!
@@DCMultiCollector well the super powers scheme are the obnoxiously bright neon colors that clash with any realistic sculpt. Once again look at the Wonder Woman plat and ask yourself if you’d prefer that over the regular release. There will be a classic Hawkman without hair etc. As it stands it’s a cool completely 100% comic accurate version of Hawkman. I understand the classic collectors want those versions first but there’s something to be said to explore other interesting versions and not just front load all classics so the next decade isn’t all variant costumes. 🤷🏻♂️ I mean when Todd bites into a character sometimes he really bites, we have a 4th Kyle Reynor coming for example.
My card says Hawkman on the back. I'd say instead of replacing the card stand on these supposed special edition with more accessories, they should keep the stands and just ADD accessories. That would better justify the price point. Not that I'm one of those people going around complaining. I'll pay for what I want and not pay for ones I don't think are worth it. If enough people didn't want to pay, they'd get the hint pretty fast. Apparently, people are willing to pay, so... kinda seems to justify their views on supply and demand for what they do.

Despite not being a totally accurate classic version of Hawkman, I love the classic bright colors and think it works pretty well with this sculpt. I really think the Sky Tyrant wings should've been reused for this Hawkman and made him an even better figure.
He looks so good with Alan Scott and Jay Garrick! Makes me want a classic Dr. Fate so badly for our JSA!

The price point for these are terrible. They shouldn't of done a chase figure and just make that one the standard.
The platinum versions price is crazy. Some retailers in Australia have them at $80 each. Like wtf
