I just papered my first room today. I used a very nice fine blue and white stripe. I glued my paper to precut poster board and smoothed it out first. Then I glued the final assembly into the house walls. The house is made with prevarnished plywood so no need to seal the walls first as suggested here. I used an acid free stick glue for photos which worked out great. It came out beautifully and I am very pleased with it! One word of advice; if you are using a vertical stripe wallpaper it is essential that it be absolutely squared with the room because the stripes will only accentuate any crookedness in your line up especially at the corners and wall edges.
