22:09 - i would't do like that to a balance spring. It would be much safer to mount it on the plate and only then to wash it (in pure gasoline. Isopropanol dissolves shellack, so the balance stone might drop out). Also, it's better to work with finger cots or gloves, to avoid fingerprints. Human grease is a quite aggressive compound
Thanks for the feedback to my video. You are right that was a rough washing for a balance, i will do it like suggested from you. For parts with shellack i don‘t use Isopropanol, only washing benzine/gasoline. Good tip with the finger cots, i will order some 👍🏻.
