I have never actually seen a house as bad as that first one. A lot of things nick usually criticizes are ideas I'm too dumb to even recognize as bad before he points them out. But that first one, good lord I especially appreciate the shoulder wide hallway you have to crawl through to the oven

Went from dome lights and dangerous ceiling fans to wafers throughout, removed the partial popcorn ceiling and fixed a lot of water damage in the ceiling as well as currently replacing sheathing windows and insulation in preparation for new siding down the line as it currently has 4/8 vertical aluminum on most of the exterior with deteriorating cement board from the badly installed replacement windows. Opted for new work pella windows with sheathing up to the new openings.
