@@reeda.2341 His robot mode still looks really cool with all the shininess, but he really needed to be a leader size, but hey, Studio Series is all about scale, so it does work out.

This is by far my favorite Megatron in the Studio Series line!
Same! I can't wait to see a Studio Series Last Knight Megatron. I have the Premier Edition figure and already it's amazing in and of itself. I can't imagine how they could top that in a Studio Series form. I saw the Movie MP version and the nose of the jet mode doesn't stay closed up so it's a bit fidgety.

edit - also, dude, the voices you did were actually pretty damn good for casual spit-ball impressions. That was almost freaky.
And i have him with his box, it is very impressive and large. The paint looks better in person. The chest piece is barely noticeable in hand. Good review PvP

Man, there are a lot of ss figures you weren’t excited for, but when reviewing it you are always impressed
That was a really good impersonation of that scene
The reason the newer figure looks amazing with the paint is that, for once in a long while, the figures are selling amazingly giving the designers the money they need for the nice design. The other was made still fairly early in the life of studio series so that is why I believe the paint of the figure is so much better compared to the 13th
Considering how they have re-released some figures but in different paint schemes could give them the incentive to redo the RotF Megatron figure with this awesome paint.
Explains why soon to come ss figures are lacking since the recent ones sold like poop
My only gripe is the shins. And even with that, I’m reaching for things to complain about because hey, the kibble has to go somewhere. Great paint and articulation. Picked up mine a week ago!

If I had to choose a complaint about this figure that would be the only one. If they redid him for a leader class size I bet it would be possible.

Wow! This figure really surprised me. I have to admit I was having mixed feelings about him, especially with the legs looking very bulky and the reused chest piece from the Revenge of the Fallen mold. But in hand he looks great. The paint job is awesome and it definitely blows Revenge of the Fallen Megatron out of the water. I only wish he had his fusion cannon, then he would be perfect.
It's kind of ironic I was thinking this would be one of my least favorite figures from this wave, but now I think he might be my favorite. I'm definitely getting him now, if I can find him, and your review was a big part of my decision, so great job on your part. Also props on the voices, almost sounded like I was listening to the movie. I know it's a little late but Merry Christmas PVP.
Got my copy of this guy two days before your review and I gotta admit you're right: folding both legs simultaneously when changing to jet mode is more effective. I've been doing them one at a time and it made tabbing them in difficult. They wouldn't remain stable and would unpeg. I just now tried it your way and everything is flush and stabilized perfectly. Thanks for your tip man. :D also I love this figure imo probably my favorite movie Megatron studio series so far.

This is honestly my favorite movie Megatron figure (yes, better than MPM). I wish I got this one instead of SS31 lol

Freshstart Famm have u seen that aoe galvatron from unique toys? Black magic at its finest. Mah god, It manage to keep up with the same level of accuracy of the robot and vehicle mode as the bull shit cgi on screen.

I hope we get a spark energy damaged M1 Megatron later down the line, scale it is up to Leader class, switch the mace for his gun, include the Allspark and Frenzy and I think that would make a perfect figure!
Well considering they did a DotM Optimus SS with his trailer and jetwings anything is possible!
He is well-known as N.B.E-1 when cryo tained in ice since Captain witwicky discovered him thousands of years until his red eyes zapped Captain witwicky and collapsed as his glasses dropped which is linked to the code of the allspark location linked to the hooverdam after frenzy caused a cryo failure to thaw out setting Megatron free when downed by the allspark moments before his defeat.
I was never a huge fan of his 2007 movie design but this is beautiful with that silver paint, and this is the first toy of him where the jet mode looks cool and actually, well, like a jet rather than a folded up robot. I think I still prefer the ROTF tank design though, too bad they didn't give that figure the same paint treatment.
Ngl I think that painting is amazing. Wish movie 2 Megatron had the same paint job
I hope some upgrade kits can give megatron his transformable bio blaster for the right arm and maybe a upgrade form of his mace and maybe a the all spark for authenticity

Funny... I got this one for my brother’s Christmas present
I got this today and this is probably the best megatron i will ever own
I love this figure. I love all the sculpting, I love the colors, I love the poseability. The feet are dumb and the legs look kind of silly, but the way the skulpting and painting are, and the way the BACK is, I like it better than the masterpiece. Just wish you could do his hands-together fusion cannon thing, and that his feet weren't such a weird design.
I’m so glad DNA designs and the Beiwei KO Megatron has the correct torso.

They should have put that the long nose cone of his jet mode could unplug and turn into the cannon like what they did with SS blackout with the back propeller turning into his saw blade
Finally. The movie 1 Decepticon crew in Studio series form. It would be a cherry on top if Hasbro somehow gives us a Frenzy and maybe the mountain dew robot. Then my collection is complete.

He is nice but I really hate his feet because it's a pain to stand him up well

About the chest and weapon, I bet there will be an upgrade kit that will include the Allspark, his gun and a new chest plate since the chest is only on a screw.

While not as good as the MPM figure, it's definitely a viable option for those on the cheap is my takeaway.

Guys the Studio Series 2020 is out!
I would honestly choose this over the mpm version solely because this figure does not have a giant backpack because of the wings of his jet mode, would rather have the wings packed into the legs than sticking out like a huge sore thumb.
He really needed the visible head in the vehicle mode...
The reason ROTF Megatron is just unpainted grey is due to the fact that all their paint budget went to SS10 Jazz. Also if all the Megatron toys were all nice and shiny then they’d all look the same and there’d be no point to buy another Megatron other than a new sculpt.

You can move his shoulders out all the way. They joint is just super tight. I had to loosen mine a bit.
Also, did you know you can get DOTM Megatron to hold his shotgun in his left hand?
