MVP stands for Most Valuable Player. I think Darshan did great this split. He helped his team a lot with his sick TPs. Also, I have watched so many CLG fights in which they seem to be losing, but of all the sudden, Darshan picked double or triple kills and change everything. To me that is what being most valuable is.
Oh man, this one is indeed tough. However, I still give the slight edge to Bjergsen. Here's why: Jensen carries games pretty hard and has the highest stats out of them two. Olleh makes fantastic plays for his team. Xmithie left jaws on the floor with his performance on IMT. But to take a playstyle (tank mid) from scratch and learn it just to allow anyone else in your team to carry despite you being arguably the best player in your team? And to top it off, even with the struggles the whole team ends with the least amount of losses and in 1st? That means that all the different strategies worked out for the most part; and that speaks of a true team player, a great captain and definitely an MVP caliber player right there. My vote definitely goes to Bjergsen.
Luis Angel If you say all of this you can easily say the same for pobelter. He did the exact same by playing galio to support his team and snowball Cody
Bjergsen should really get this, yeah just because hes gotten it before doesn't mean he isn't worth another one. Hes easily shown he is world class in midlane. Made Tsm dominant from the start, and is NA's strongest world contender.
MVP of the split should obviously go to someone on the immortals roster. They all deserve it for a phenomenal split where each one did their part to great success
I guess you haven't been watching this split? It isn't a career-wide award. It's a summer split award, and Darshan has been playing crazy well this split.
When you really think about it, it's incredibly difficult to argue that Bjergsen DOESN'T deserve MVP. He can sacrifice resources but put out insane damage numbers. if he gets resources, he'll carry insanely hard
100% Bjergensen is the MVP of this split. He has gotten it so many times because he has proved that he can take more responsebility for his team than no one else have done. He has taken all roles to be a pro. 1) Being a 1v1 beast at the midlane 2) he now does what ever that is best for his team (take Galio or Zilien mid) 3) he has been the main voice for shortcalls for his team. 100% Bjergensen !!!! He is a beast !!!! NA Faker
It's a tough question. How do you measure "value" on a 4th-place team? I don't know how to answer. Jensen has looked good, but if C9 can't beat the top 3 teams, then it feels iffy letting any of them walk away with MVP of the league. But he's looked really good......
When C9 was losing games early on in the split, Jensen's stats were showing that he was basically 1v9'ing lol he is on a whole new level this summer. It is a close one between Bjerg and Jensen but Jensen did have to do a lot more this split. Impact and Ray did have a lot of discrepancies in the Top lane and Sneaky hit a slump at one point while Bjerg has arguable the best top laner and a consistent duo in the bot lane. And hey, we saw how Jensen bodied Bjerg the last time they played this split lol no other mid laner can do that to Bjergsen.
What would the best hypothetical NA starting roster be (max 2 imports)? I have: TOP: Ssumday JG: Xmithie/Contractz (depending on playstyle) MID: Bjergsen (gotta abuse the NA residency) ADC: Doublelift (or Cody Sun for botlane synergy) SUP: Olleh Ssumday and Olleh would be the imports.
awungsauce I think Darshan could fit in there. Ssumday is arguably a little bit better player, but Darshan is a better teammate and has already played on a team with Xmithie and Doublelift. I'm also not sure how well Ssumday speaks English.
bjergsen should get it because he plays whatever his team needs. he is not an only assassin control mage i need my team to camp me so we win the game mid laner. come worlds time if c9 has that one gameplan and nothing else they will get destroyed just like they did against EU. end of story. bjergsen can play support midd, tank mids, assassins, control mages, really anything his team needs and he will consistently win lane without nearly as much help as jensen gets. he is always a clutch player and doesnt throw games away like jensen has twice.
What about piglet, isn't he going to be a US Citizen or something after being in America for 3 years? He came to NA in Season 5 right? Wouldn't that give them another import slot like what happened with Bjerg?
Everyone says berg should get it because he does more for the team? Not because the team have 3 players that want to play carries and an inting jungler, you cant hold it against jensen because c9 like playing a standard comp with an ad and ap carry behind 3 front liners
I am a TSM Fanbiy, and against the norm - Olleh by far for me. A support that really deserves the MVP. Not only are his stats amazing, his impact on both his team and the opposing teams gameplay is huge, more so than that of Bjergerking. TSM is not just the Bjerg show. Hauntzer is easily in contention as one of the best top laners, Biofrost would be an A+ or in some games S tier Supp and Sven is a hit or miss tbh... (and then doublelift is finally switching it on). But Olleh is like an S+++ Tier in regards to Support with Smoothie being a S+. In conclusion - Give the 1st ever MVP to a supp!!!
Y'all are forgetting my boy POB. He sacrifices for his team just like bjerg and was a critical reason for his team to go from 7th to 2nd. While tsm is still first they downgraded a bit and some of the blame has to go to bjerg bc it is a team thing.POB played galio too
I mean that such a hard vote for MVP. If you are looking to C9's team, Jensen has to do all to lead his team. If you are looking to Bjergsen, he is better then jensen. Simply , he does not have to shine like Jensen to be at 1rst place, he has a team to help, and dont forget that he played a lot of galio / support mid to prepare for worlds ..
Jensen has played well this split but mostly because all resources have been poured into him this split, Sneaky has often been put in positions where him and Smoothie fend for themselves until team fights. If there wasn't as much commitment to trying to get Jensen ahead his numbers wouldn't look as good. If Jensen can actually not choke these playoffs away with misplays we'll know if it's the real deal this split or more of the same from previous splits. At this point Bjergsen is a lock for MVP considering he doesn't have to play a hyper-carry mid laner (like LB) every other series. TL;DR until Jensen proves his play is consistent in playoffs, I wouldn't say he's the MVP.
Pedro Miguel because if NV loses to CLG, they slot into the bottom of the gauntlet for the last team to get to worlds. They placed 4th last split which gave them enough championship points, but again, only if NV loses first round
Being mvp means if they orgs were to start all over and draft people 1 by 1 we all know bjerg would be first pick and there is no denying that and nobody else that competes with him for that spot.
William Hobbs Nope, it's not unfair, spring determines MSI and summer determines the first Worlds seed. However after the winner of summer they look at the other 9 teams to see which of those has the most championship points, which are a combination of spring and summer results, meaning that the spring result still matters quite extensively should you not win the summer split.
MVP.. If you had to choose one player to be the foundation of your team who would it be? 90% of the time you are going to pick bjerg. He is the player I would want leading my team. Jensen is fantastic but he still occasionally chokes. Xsmithie wouldn't even be my first jungler choice if I was building a team.
yeah the next promotion tournament in na might be the most competetive ever. the skt question will be really interesting they can definitly make it but it will be hard they might even only get 5th
In the decision between Bjergsen and Jensen, I think too many people are caught up in raw stats without considering the reason for those stats. Jensen does carry a lot, but only because his team sets him up to carry. He is a selfish player, so his team HAS to feed him. Bjergsen carries when he needs to, then supports when he needs to.
If y'all know what MVP means then it obvious it should go to Jensen. Valuable to their team meaning who it's worth the most and it's Jensen. C9 plays around Jensen pours him resources so he can carry and he does while with TSM bjergsen doesn't have to carry as often. He has hauntzer dlift who is prolly the best in their respective roles right now meaning they also can carry. If u want u can compare to basketball. TSM is like the warriors having multiple greats that allow them to play off one another while u have Jensen who is like Westbrook and he needs to single Handily do well for c9 to win. So yes Jensen should get MVP because TSM has more talent allowing bjergsen to take a step back BUT that does not mean Jensen is better then bjergsen just like Westbrook is MVP but is not better than curry
Xsmithie for MVP I think his performance and leadership has brought IMT to the top. Yes, IMT in general did perform really good, but the switch from DD to Xsmithie is what really made the biggest difference.
People looking at jensen and bjerg should remember that c9 honestly funnels all of their resources into mid now even cs to jensen over sneaky tsm is a a whole team focus some games double gets it all others hauntzer so for what hes given to work with bjerg is far superior in my eyes but to each their own jensens mechanics are stunning but bjergs game knowledge is beautiful
I just don't understand Jatt's arguments for Jensen being an MVP style player especially when he says that he's a better mid laner than Bjersen. Like yes Jensen is a statistical god but the amount of resources that get poured into him is crazy. When I see C9 I think Jensen and everyone else is there to get him to that point where he can 1v5. But the problem with that is that more often than not when they lose it's because Jensen has gotten caught it some way and then everyone else on their team can't carry the fight because all the resources were dumped into this one person. Which is obviously not a good strategy to have especially the only strategy that you have. It's very one dimensional and can be exploited. And then also when you look at the two players of bjergsen and Jensen, jensen is the guy C9 needs to carry so he plays lane dominant champs that can get a lead and carry so yah he has a lot of kills and great cs because when you look at his pool it's gonna happen that way. But bjergsen and TSM as a whole are overall a better team and bjergsen doesn't always have to play the carry and can play a zilean or a Galio or a Karma/Lulu and be more supportive because he is just an overall better player and when the team needs he can pick up a carry and absolutely crush. And also the shot calling is another aspect that bjersen has over Jensen. I'm not saying that Jensen is a bad player because I would have to be blind to say that. But I just don't agree with Jatt's points because I just feel like he is looking just at stats and not how the games are being played or how the teams work. For me I wouldn't even have Jensen in my top 5 for MVP.
bJeRgSeN fOr mVp. Memes aside Jensen deserves it flat out. If Bjerg performed as well as Jensen has while him playing for C9 everyone would say Bjerg for MVP.
i really dont know i have the feeling that c9 put jensen into carry positions every game on the other side TSM trys more styles that include bjerg on a more supportive mid laner so he cant shine as hard as jensen does. still going for bjerg in this one
I'm gonna go in order and say Xmithy, Jensen, Bjerg. Xmithy gets it because he's pretty much the only major difference between IMT out of the playoffs and the 2 seed. Jensen because his KDA is almost 2 above the rest of the field. Bjerg because he's the best player on the best team
Would give MVP to Jensen or Xmithie, Jensen is playing ridiculously out of his mind, and Xmithie helped completely reshape a team into first place as a jungler, one who has a big responsibility through all parts of the game in terms of leadership
TobiDaJoker I don't really think Jensen deserves a MVP for the split. I understand that he is playing well and has many great stats, however both Sneaky and Smoothie are doing pretty well for the most of the season as well, so it's kinda hard to say if Jensen was that valuable for the team. On the other hand, I think Xmithie definitely deserves one. Despite I was never a IMT fan, it is quite easy to see that Xmithie was one of the main factor they moved from a 7th place team to a 2nd place team. Although one can still argue Pobelter, Flame, and Olleh are all having some good second half of the season, most of them weren't playing as a team for the first half of the season
I think I would give it to olleh over xmithie, that dude is actually insane. Like when you're looking at the supports who can actually be the catalyst that makes their team win there are only like 2-3 and olleh is the best by far imo. That's not to say xmithie isn't doing good, i just think olleh is more valuable for the team
Last split was more controversial to me, Arrow getting MVP was just odd. As we can see in this split, he just isn't that good. But it's though, Bjergsen doesn't stand out that much as he did in other splits when he won.
I'm from EU and i say NA>EU cause they have the best players, the most tremendous coaches and people who point out that no midlaner in Riftrivals was from NA are straight fakenews. It's true. Believe me
This episode got me juiced up
These slides were JUICED
Jensen, Bjerg, LirA, Xmithie, Olleh ... They all deserve it in some ways, no need for drama.
MVP stands for Most Valuable Player. I think Darshan did great this split. He helped his team a lot with his sick TPs. Season 3 world champion, spring split mvp and more. Dude these guys shouldn't be wasted on challanger series...
MVP of the split should obviously go to someone on the immortals roster. They all deserve it for a phenomenal split where each one did their part to great success
Jensen MVP??? this guy chokes so much in high pressure situations...
Wait why would you have Darchan on the mvp sign?
Leo Melnyk because he had a good season? And he's a top 3 top laner.
lolwut, flame/ssumday/impact/hauntzer >darshan lmao
Darshan, or the anime Dar-chan
I guess you haven't been watching this split? It isn't a career-wide award. It's a summer split award, and Darshan has been playing crazy well this split.
you spelled Darshit wrong :D silly guy
Ssumday for MVP!
Hope DIG can go to worlds this year
When you really think about it, it's incredibly difficult to argue that Bjergsen DOESN'T deserve MVP. He can sacrifice resources but put out insane damage numbers. if he gets resources, he'll carry insanely hard
Best episode ever.
Is it only down from here? D:

100 bro
Is Taric a playmaker or shielder? Imo I'd say playmaker

Glad Kobe loves rick and morty. We're totally confirmed best friends now.

When is the voting for MVP?
I'm a hardcore TSM fan, I love Bjerg, Jensen should get MVP.
is Rakan a playmaker or shielder????

Bjerg Is So good
TSM Jatt not voting TSM Bjerg, now THIS is definitely weirder.
Bjergsen is Summer MVP
Bjergsen should win this mvp. He did so good for team this split. Like galio ex... also won rift rivals
What about piglet, isn't he going to be a US Citizen or something after being in America for 3 years? He came to NA in Season 5 right? Wouldn't that give them another import slot like what happened with Bjerg?
Thats why they can play with Mickie...
Jatt is hyped
well rakan is a shielder and a playmaker
Everyone says berg should get it because he does more for the team? Not because the team have 3 players that want to play carries and an inting jungler, you cant hold it against jensen because c9 like playing a standard comp with an ad and ap carry behind 3 front liners
The fact that they brought in Rick and Morty made my day xD
no TSM JATT anymore?
can you make more slides about other regions too and not only NA?
they don't make the slides
What's stopping the other regions from making their own shows like this?
I am a TSM Fanbiy, and against the norm - Olleh by far for me. A support that really deserves the MVP.

TINY RICK!
How is it even a discussion? Jensen obviously gets MVP
I mean that such a hard vote for MVP. If you are looking to C9's team, Jensen has to do all to lead his team. If you are looking to Bjergsen, he is better then jensen. did he say, LemonNation games?
They couldn't even get a picture of liquid Mickey😂
Nisqy/Lira?
can C9 make it to finals? they will play vs tsm if they win Quarter finals, no?
The last one slide should be Delta Fox on 1st place of NACS 😂
KT and LZ were on the first slide for a reason, ya dingles.
MVP..

Olleh should win MVP. Also, Piglet is no longer considered an Import if he returns so Liquid would have 2 slots open
TSM Jatt
Obviously there are a lot of good options for MVP, but I'mma have to go with my boy Michael "Imaqtpie" Santana
yeah the next promotion tournament in na might be the most competetive ever. the skt question will be really interesting they can definitly make it but it will be hard they might even only get 5th
TINY RICK! 8:25 I love you Kobe

C9 fan but I wanna ask. Swap Jensen and bjerg and what happens? Who's MVP? Who's the better team?
Oluwatomisin Adebowale if u swap bjerg to c9,c9 will stomp tsm. And i will not be a tsm fan anymore but c9 😀
Kuran Origin lol! Ok what about bjerg on SKT vs faker on TSM? Who wins?
If y'all know what MVP means then it obvious it should go to Jensen. Valuable to their team meaning who it's worth the most and it's Jensen. So yes Jensen should get MVP because TSM has more talent allowing bjergsen to take a step back BUT that does not mean Jensen is better then bjergsen just like Westbrook is MVP but is not better than curry
revisit TL now that theyre back in LCS
I dont think SKT is currently playing as a Top3 LCK team. With this said, i know better than to bet against SKT
are you kidding me... xmithie took a horrible immortals team to getting them to second in the Split.... he was so good
Tyler1 for MVP.
Imo for mvp
1-jensen
2-bjergsen
3-olleh
4-lira
5-xmithie
Whats everyone elses?
Xsmithie for MVP
I think his performance and leadership has brought IMT to the top. Yes, IMT in general did perform really good, but the switch from DD to Xsmithie is what really made the biggest difference.
Olleh MVP.
If you don't want controversy about MVP just do it like LCK, everyone agrees who's MVP and everyone is happy about it.
Zdravko Bekriev then dardoch would've gotten it in the spring split which definitely wouldn't be an accurate reflection of the real mvp
But that's boring. Having your own opinion causes discussion which can be fun.
People looking at jensen and bjerg should remember that c9 honestly funnels all of their resources into mid now even cs to jensen over sneaky tsm is a a whole team focus some games double gets it all others hauntzer so for what hes given to work with bjerg is far superior in my eyes but to each their own jensens mechanics are stunning but bjergs game knowledge is beautiful

bJeRgSeN fOr mVp. Memes aside Jensen deserves it flat out. If Bjerg performed as well as Jensen has while him playing for C9 everyone would say Bjerg for MVP.
PICKLE RICK
Jensen is the Russell Westbrook of NALCS.
I only watch this for bjerg
Jensen has never came in clutch like Bjerg. Fact.
Rivington gets MVP no question!
Hey man. TL isn't the only team last
i really dont know i have the feeling that c9 put jensen into carry positions every game on the other side TSM trys more styles that include bjerg on a more supportive mid laner so he cant shine as hard as jensen does. still going for bjerg in this one

A lot of that is their coach though and you're forgetting Olleh is a huge part of why they win a lot
If we judge mvp on biggest impact on the team I'll go for olleh or ssumday
He knows pickle Rick!!
Worlds is gonna be TSM/C9/IMT.
Olleh should win MVP.
IM PICKLE RICK!!
This or that is obviously how riots decides the script of the lcs
olleh is the clear choice for MVP lol
We are gonna need a JUICED slide next time.
Carlzzone lol podcast
Gonna put the toilet paper in the freezer cuz they cooking up some spicy MVP trashtalk feast
Jensen should be MVP!!
Dont care who gets it between Bjerg and Jensen, both danes so i cheer for both xD
definatly not bjergsen new skin confirmed?
Last split was more controversial to me, Arrow getting MVP was just odd. As we can see in this split, he just isn't that good. But it's though, Bjergsen doesn't stand out that much as he did in other splits when he won.
Bjergsen or Xmithie. Xmithie made IMT look great (coach SSONG also had a lot to do with it) but Bjergsen has been Bjergsen.
I'll so laugh if Hai can lead FLYQUEST somehow through a miracle in the gauntlet just like last year. XD
I'm from EU and i say NA>EU
cause they have the best players, the most tremendous coaches and people who point out that no midlaner in Riftrivals was from NA are straight fakenews. It's true. Believe me
Tsm jatt at it once again
