Brother, I have not commented on any of your videos in a while. But I certainly enjoy your videos. The folding hunter has become my favorite pattern in the past little while. Keep up the fantastic videos I learn so much from you. God bless you.
This was really a great video! Super way to start the day with my coffee. I’m gonna have to give it a second watch to digest all that information. I always learn so much. 😊Thank you!
I love folding hunter knives I have about 6 buck 110 and was disappointed when you said that they are not a folding hunter 😢. The case folding hunters i have are very beautiful and most are pre 70s. God bless America 🇺🇸 🙏 and be safe everyone 🙏
@@howardkayecrabyman Buck 110 might now qualify as Folding Hunters, but they are a great and classic knife, made by one of the best US knife companies still out there!
Love the show brother and hello from Northern Pennsylvania. Keep the videos coming man. They’re great. And do you fix other knives four people I have a 72 case xx rigging knife that needs a marlin spike put on it. The knife is beautiful. The bone is awesome on it. I’m just looking for somebody to fix it. I can’t work on them like I used to after I had my stroke my right arm don’t like to work as good as my left.
@@JasonDoan-h6e I do work on knives for other people, but I do not have a marlin spike for a Case. I think I have one for a Schrade, and one Camillus Rigging knife for parts, but not a Case. If I can come across one I will check back with you.
@ thank you for responding back to me my friend. And hello again from Northern Pennsylvania. From what I’ve seen and heard Case xx and Kabar and the buck rigging knifes wayback when were subcontracted to Camillia‘s to make the knives for them and then they put their stamps on the blade. So I’m thinking the Marlin spikes should all be interchangeable. I justed like to get the knife fixed and I think it would make a really cool video. You just don’t see a lot about the marlinspike knives. thank you for your time my brother and you have a great weekend.
Hey there Brother Scott very interesting video I enjoy your videos very much and I appreciate you sharing all this information with us on working with pocket knives. I was wondering if you could tell me where you sell at Thanks Brother
@@very5ick112 I could make a Frankenknife out of it, but I preferred keeping it as original as possible. The older and more valuable the knife, the more authentic. The cheaper and more common, the more willing I am to modify it.
@@jameswilson6374 According to Levine's, it is too short to qualify. It is categorized as a "single-blade lockback". In fact, the Buck 110 pretty much made that a category! Of course, knife categories and pattern names are generalized, and there are often knives that do not fit any category, or that fit multiples. In the end, is it important what we call it? What is important is that we use knives, collect them, and enjoy them!

why not put a usa schrade blade on that western ? only 1.12 gets a usa made blade

The Buck 110 doesn't make the grade as a folding hunter! You have to be joking right?
