Usually in 7 Days to Die you're constantly running quests or looting every building you come across. Then one day I saw someone talk about trying to survive without any buildings at all. I was still new to the game at the time, so most of the discussion went right over my head, but the idea stuck with me. I already knew that you could augment the game's rules a lot and there was a robust number of settings for world generation, so the idea wasn't totally lost on me. Then, after a year of playing a new build of 7 Days, I began to think about how playing the game without structures would affect my experience. I spent a single session, or roughly four in game days, testing the idea out. That led me to realize it would probably be worth it to make a series. So I launched the game, started my recording software, and opened a text editor to start a journal. After filling my harddrive over several sessions I wrote a script based on the journal, and then hit the editing board. This video may not be particularly long, but the project took a while to complete. I began the whole process in late November and only now in early March have I finished it. Even then it would have taken longer if not for some extra free time I was unexpectedly given. Anyway, all this is to say I hope those of you who are bothering to read this enjoy the show. I really like doing longer form videos, but I'm such a perfectionist that they take forever to make, even when they're just kinda standard length instead of some two hour dissertation. Maybe that's enough of a reason to get some more supporters on my patreon, but I doubt this little excerpt here would really do that. I love giving my self limits in games, like mine craft with the last update with villagers balancing I did t let my self go more then 5 blocks below dirt so no mining. I wanted to see how far I could get in the game an it took a little longer then normal however once I took over a village I had no reason to go mining buying almost everything I needed an finding enough diamonds in chest to get full diamond armor.

This just shows how backwards the game's development went. A survival game where the only way to survive is to be a errand boy for dubious strangers in hopes they deign to give you something of worth. Removal of action skills, nerfing farming, making zeds have "true" sight... It's laughable that it's considered a survival game at all.
