If you make another video like this please enable lighting. This is a nice comparison but the new models very much rely on their pbr materials which are undersold without at least preview lighting enabled.
It's because some of hl2 models have basic lighting baked onto diffuse texture while alyx uses pbr textures and simulates entire lighting accurately in real time
They look more detailed in game. A lot of these newer models rely on PBR materials and look amazing when it has lighting. Trust me, these models aren’t lacking in detail
