    It's hilarious to watch them simultaneously try to reassure people that jobs are not at risk while at the same time showing how much better these robots are

      "Pressurize the robot" So glad the next version is electric, not hydraulic.

      Clearly it was praying to Mecca before being animated by Allah. Or maybe it was just in child's pose, stretching out them hydraulics. You never know with these bots 😏😆

    10:50 want some fries with that salt? I'll let the bot handle the finishing touches too, thanks.

    The forest was shrinking, but the trees kept voting for the axe; for the axe was clever and convinced the trees that because his handle was made of wood, he was one of them.

      @mygirldarby 17 дней назад +2

      The axe doesn't have a brain and can't be clever. Robots aren't trying to trick us into building them, 😅.

    The debate around art is ridiculous, it's just a new medium. Anyone not seeing this coming hasn't been paying attention. We've been trying to replicate humans since making puppets move in large mechanical clocks. Wait until AI and humanoid robots really get "cookin'". It doesn't matter how much you tell people it's happening there will still be an apocalyptic moment when the public fully understands the next paradigm shift. 😎💯

    • @paulmichaelfreedman8334
      @paulmichaelfreedman8334 16 дней назад

      That would be a bad idea. Only in circumstances where actual intelligence is required, should one give the robot such capability. In other words, the right capabilities for each individual robot.

    Working a deep fryer is a 'dangerous environment." I was 14 in 1985 working my first job at Dairy queen...on the dual deep fryer.....People nowadays are soft. The robots are cool.

    Everyone watching this needs to consider the implications of where AI is heading, because we cannot stop it, and we need to start preparing for what it means, asap! As it will only keep advancing. Ignore the instinct to think it'll never do certain things, for I can assure you it will, and far sooner than you may expect. Don't believe those who say we don't need to prepare, as they're probably the ones who'll profit the most from delay. It's not going to create anywhere near enough "new jobs" quickly enough to reemploy all those it will displace! What new jobs could it create, that it couldn't also do itself? AI exists thanks to years of data and content, collected from all of us, that goes into training it to then out compete us. Demand your AI Dividend! Your piece of the benefits your data helped create. How else will we keep workers afloat while they figure out what to do next, how else can we keep the middle class from losing everything they've built? I've yet to hear a better answer, that doesn't just dismiss or dodge.

    BD robots just need AI for at least verbal, then more.
    Those robotic cooking machines are limited, they could be better, with more arms, etc. As AI gets more aptitude, they'll replace the rest of the people too. Inflation always goes up, and companies always try to up their upper management pay.
    The automated military stuff should be limited to people controlling where and how they are used, so as to not be fully automated. AI could go bad if much is totally automated. People should keep things in control enough, but it could still happen if people aren't too conscious about it. Be wary.
    The robotic sculpture could get good enough to finish the sculpture easily. AI advancements could do the designs too, in time.

    • @corwinzelazney5312

      Yeah, its great. Classroom sizes are too big and there's not enough teachers because we don't pay them what they're worth. With this, every kid can have their own personal tutor that understands exactly what the student needs, how they best learn, how best to motivate them. This will finally give us a generation of kids that are well educated. Those who fear knowledge are the reason for all the world's problems.

      AI will quickly be cheaper and more effective than most labor.
      Also, while it sounds good to reskill people, I don't think "you should be working with dangerous equipment" when I think of the typical person flipping burgers. They can't even "fix" the ice cream machine!
