I screwed up! I think they were talking about the new X3 pro for the new brakes!!!! Sorry guys. I juggle a lot and get confused. I'll clear it up in my next video.
I have an ST 2023 Model what BMX Handlebars would you recommend and how tall, what spacers would be needed. Thanks for your help and your my favorite ebike video Dude!!
Thanks so much! The ST has a slightly longer stearing tube than my old H6. I ended up going with a 12" bar on that bike. So on the ST I think 9 3/4"-10" bars would be great. The spacers offer some wiggle room too. Then you'd add shims to the base of the bars. My H6ST came on Thursday. The Tannus Armour and Flat-Out were installed before I rode it. Test ride on Friday, 40 miles along the Niagara River. Heading up the canal path tonight and breakfast in Buffalo Sunday. Thank you for the help, I'm loving this bike. Going to bring the adjustable stem as close to vertical as I can to see if I like it better. Can I rotate it 180 on the post? Thanks again. -Jack
@@Stevenator92 Nguyen, I bought based on Tracy's review ( ruclips.net/video/ekweKEzgZXM/видео.html ) and Area 13's post ( ruclips.net/video/-X0y-2AsGRk/видео.html ) . I bought the 'FlatOut Multi-Purpose Tire Sealant' and the ''Tannus Armour Tire Inserts' together with new(smaller) tubes on Amazon as a set. I got the 32oz bag of FlatOut and used 1/3 of a bag in each tire. I thought I read that both types of FlatOut are the same and I chose FlatOut over Slime because it is said to last 10 years while Slime lasts 2 years.
Got my H6 ST about 2 days ago...put it together and changed a couple things on it. Put a set of Red Shift Arc light pedals on..these pedals are great for being visible at night, same ones I have on my H6, put some mirrors on, Bright Eyes headlight, and swapped out the headlight that came with it for the one from my HeyBike Explore, much brighter and better light pattern. Would liked to have seen an upgrade on the taillight, like an always on one and not just for braking. Took it for a spin and the first thing i noticed was the suspension, the rear shocks are in my opinion better than the ones on the H6, mine are real stiff and have no give, not sure if i got a bad set or what. Got any ideas on replacement shocks i can put on my H6 for a more cushier ride? All in all..really like both bikes.
Ok. Yeah, I was unimpressed with the rear shocks on the H6. I pretty much stand on it most of the time so just got used to it. But the step through is great. Pretty sure it's the same shock setup but the frame makes the difference. Been thinking about a shock upgrade for the H6. I'll look into it and see what I can come up with. Those pedals are Trick!
Sent a message to Wallke about the rear shocks and they said they put lighter weight shocks on the H6 ST because it was aimed more toward shorter , older and lighter riders. Hmmm, sounds a little discriminatory, but if anything, should of came with adjustable rear shocks so you could fine tune your ride depending on what surface you're riding on. Maybe something for Wallke to look at for their next version.
@@DouglasB65 Good to know. they're always tweekin stuff. I'm guessing they went with softer shocks because a suspension seat post would run tall and the step through is aimed at smaller folks. When I get a chance, I'll take some time to look into the different compression ratios of the shocks. Wallke would probably hook me up with a set, but I like digging into the Stateside aftermarket for deals on upgrades.
As of July 27, 2023 and what I've found so far: The best deals for apx 1800.00 to 2200.00 is front and rear suspension with hydraulic brakes and range that goes apx 75 miles on full throttle only at about 20 MPH even with the rider weighing in at 175 pounds. (all very realistic with 750 watts of power and battery AMPS running around 60 AMPS) all of this is now being sold by distributor manufactuers called: WildeWay, Annie Okii, and Eahora, (the current standard for quality in this range in WildeWay who offer a UL listed battery even) Your average non UL battery will lose apx 30% of it's battery range after the first 8000 miles due to inferior components, but look on the bright side, by that time that happens you'll likely be spending up to 40% less to replace the battery anyway starting in 2027 if the current trend continues, ie 30 AMP battery's likely available under 400.00 anyway, and U.S. gasoline prices could easily be approaching 6.50 a gallon nationwide in the year 2027, so your not going to care that much about the cost of additonal Ebike battery's if the current macro trends continue, See: ruclips.net/video/9lIR-sUm7pM/видео.html ruclips.net/video/SxlXWEKGiP4/видео.html Reply
How far did yours go? The meters on e-bikes show fast drain to protect the battery. Turn the bike off and let the batteries rest a minute. Turn it back on and the charge will be there.
@@TheE-LightenedArtist i did that, battery went back up a little.. i’m lucky if i can go 15 miles on eco. very disappointed on this bike. 100 miles on level one. should have read the fine print
Yeah that pisses me off about how e-bike range is advertised. Lithium batteries are fickle. I commute 16 miles a day. When I turn on the bike the next morning it is at 76%. After 2 days it’d be at 54%. I never go more than 2 days without charging but I couldn’t imagine getting more than 60 miles.
You got the new version with the 21ah battery right? And your tires at 15+ psi? Just curious because mine did 21 miles throttle only when it was new. It does even better now that’s it’s broken in.
Not yet. My Butt would wear out before those batteries. Plan on doing something like that but There’s so many variables in range between riders that it’s hard . Not like a gas tank on a car. My experience will be wildly different from someone else. It’d be an excuse to ride my bike all day though.
@TheE-LightenedArtist OK 👍 Also, have you heard of Eahora Juliet. Split between this and Wallke H6. I want to do deliveries, so range is my biggest concern. And Eahora is 2880Wh compared to 1680Wh for Wallke, but I really like the Wallke lol 😆
I hear ya. I’ll be under my truck for a bit but I’ll check it out when I’m done. The thing with deliveries is that your are making many stops and letting the batteries chill frequently. That makes all the difference in range.
Wow. 60 ah?! The torque and breaks are the same. But it’s 25lbs heavier than the H6. So the breaking will be a little weaker because of the weight. It claims peak wattage at 1200 but I’d bet in reality it’s more than that. H6 peak is 1400 but in reality it’s 1550. The H6 beats it in gearing. H6 has 52t + 8 spd cassette vs 48t + 7 spd freewheel on that bike. A 60 ah battery is hard to beat though. Didn’t see a brand name on the cells. I’m guessing that’s why it’s priced so low. Looks wise, I think it’s a stud. Wouldn’t kick it outta my garage. I’d look through ali express and temu. If you find the same bike on there with a different name I’d rethink it. Avoid middle man companies that just stick a name on cookie cutter bikes.
@@TheE-LightenedArtist hell ya that's awesome you would recognize the name. Mike moved out after some craziness but me and my mom still live here and I'm currently moving into/ converting the back room of the garage into a house with the ramps as the living room.
