Can also bait them up with fish, squid, crab baits at home and freeze them, then take them to the beach in a small cool box with frozen blocks, or in a flask👍

Oooh billy love the dingle dangle rig people call it a dongle over here but it ain't got the same ring to it dingle dangle
Okay! It was invented in South Africa. they invented it, they get to name it! Some people thought if they changed the name. They'd own the idea. So credit where credit is due, and that's the way it should be. And yes, dingle dangle is a better name. Thanks Brother, see you on the beach 😁👌
That's what I tell people that the idea was from south Africa but they ain't got a clue think it's a new thing
It was RUclipsrs that started it. They thought if they could call it something different they would own the idea. But like I said, give credit when it's due. Thanks Brother 👌
I just use 50lb Dacron and superglue a Uni knot loop around a pen tube, for the bottom. Slide a bead on when rigging up and tie it to the hook with another Uni knot. A metal free dingle. Releases OK using 5oz sinker. Yeah, it's a pain to tie the bait on. 😂 Gonna try some silicone tube now. Got some in the garage. Thanks.
Hi Red. Just as long as it doesn't stretch, I think you can use anything. And if it works, it works! Thanks bud😁👌
Nice one mate , top tips 👍👍🤠
Thanks Brother 😁👌
Nice video explaining it Billy. Personally I dont like dongles. I find that im loosing a hook gaining nothing but thats personal. I find even with a pennel with a circle top hook and a J hook on bottom the circle 99% of the time will always hook.
Hi James. I think it's got more to do with confidence than anything else, in the beginning I wasn't convinced. But over time, and with practice I found they worked just as well or better. But hang in there I might have the answer for you. Thanks Brother 😁👌
Thanks billy...helpful and informative as always..... when are you back on the quest for a 40lb cod...?
Thanks Rob. Glad you liked it, as far as the 40 lb cod goes, yes ! Always. You never know I might get lucky this time 😁👌
That's it I'm off to buy some heat shrink and I'm making at least 10 thanks Billy
Hope it works out. If you need some advice just ask, thanks Brother 😁👌
Spot on billy👍
Thanks Junky, see you on the beach 😁👌
Nice one bro
Thanks Matt, fish on Brother 😁👌
I am going to start making my own dingle dangles.. What are the jigging rins you use on either end??
Assist hook jigging rings
If one doesnt have the massive surf rod, could one use something like this and just throw out with bait and a hook?
Yes of course! But if you're not casting very far and the bait won't come off when you cast, then I don't really think it's applicable. Thanks Brother 😁👌
Have you tried the dingle dangle for ling, hake or similar?
Yes! It works for every fish, except eels and maybe wolf fish👌
@@Billyfishing_watch Thanks! I'm having a hard time hooking ling good when using circle hooks, but the full hook opening might help
Just let the fish do all the work! Titan of the line, don't strike. when you feel the fish on the end and lift into the fish 👌
@@Billyfishing_watch Thanks. Had great luck with circle on halibut. But then again, the halibut did all the work 😄
Yes they do👌
Its hard to understand the heatshrink part. Can you show that under a brighter light.Thanks.
There's not much to understand, you put the heat shrink over the little ring. Heat it, the tube shrinks. Then you pass the hook through the hole. The heat strength tubing is to hold the hook. Hope the explanation helps, thanks Brother 😁👌
I get it now. Clever.
😁👌
How do you bait up with this rig billy
Follow the link below. I show it in the video, thanks Brother 👍😁
ruclips.net/video/nuK5QiMmqZ4/видео.html
question : we see you with all these rigs but how do you store them? iv never seen you use a rig wallet or rig winder (or maybe i have and missed it)
I keep them in a rig wallet! I wind them up, and secure them with garden tie wire. You know, green plastic strip with wire running down the middle.
Hi do you sell these rigs if so how much thanks robbie
No, sorry bud!
