  • Something a bit different!
A full uncut edit of our local Perth downwind run - The Drummers Run
So named, as it sits inline with the once installed shark drumlines that used to be deployed off the Perth coast to "catch" and "release" great white sharks and other species.
So it's long and at times a little messy to watch my technique!! 😂
As I mentioned at the start of the clip - I tend to struggle a bit on this course - the runs start to get better around halfway! 🤙🏼
So turn the big TV on in 4k and come for a glide with me!

this video demonstrates how the kaiwaa ama beautifully handles the bumps and its cutting power. It also shows the great secondary stability of the Ares hull in the surf.

    Hello,
Is it possible that you can explain to me the difference between the Ares, the Kahele and the Volare? With your point or view for a 93kg rider who practices on 50% flat 50% downwind I own the Vega and I would like to complete it for more fun. I look forward to your reasoned comparison between the Flex and the Vega.
    Thank you

Cool video. I have a question for you. What kind of oc paddle do you use? I'm looking for a new one.

Currently using a Palafamala, having used a 425pro all last season.
      Thanks for watching 🤙🏼

Yes, the speedo is a problem that GoPro hasn’t fixed since they stopped supporting the desktop Quick app.
      I find it quite annoying!
If anyone has a work around for this (other than using the iOS app) please let me know!
      Thanks for watching 🤙🏼
