Nice, I worked in Jasper in 2009 and was hiking Wilcox pass that same day. Tall guy in green Jeep. If you kept going there is a small outcrop that has some trilobite fossils similar to the ones at the Burgress Shales. Excellent evidence for the great flood. :)
that's a great looking valley and area, I'll have to stop there next time I drive east, hopefully it will be sunny though. A bit of an oops on the landing Tf00t, lol thanks for sharing
For the best ever you want to go up to the Columbia Valley, It is where the Rockiues end and the Purcell's start, around Invermere You go up past Panarama, the hike is through "Jumbo Pass"
Well... the random guy was probably a local, so it's only natural that he'd be biased in favour of his area. (I happen to think that Toronto has the best skyline in the world, too... :-) ) Looked pretty cool, though...
The most popular online dictionary says it's pronounced "gley-sher". It's really too bad you couldn't put a higher resolution camera on that plane. Very good work, nonetheless.
While arranging rocks in river and lake beds and whlie bankrupting cafes with nothing but nothing but fishy stories and mouldybread (aka boxy).... Ok, this is definately getting into weird territory now lol.
I think TF's balls are getting close to the size of Qdragon's with that courageous bit of flying in a mountainous area like that, variable winds and all. Nice TF. Thanks for this channel. Too bad the Creotards in the audience can't appreciate the time it took for all that uplifting and glacial scouring to occur. Or maybe it was just that nasty flood thing :(
I'm making an educated guess here, but I think TF has a degree or two in Geology and Earth Sciences. This would feed into evolution through fossils etc. A good way to expand your knowledge is general curiousity added to a willingness to research a little. Those two little things will fill up your head with a vast array of curios and tidbits to bore the shit out of people at parties for years to come, and also make a few epic and wise youtube videos.
What's Amazing, Spectacular, and Amazing about these mountains, valleys, and ridges; are that god created them 4000 years ago during the great flood. I like that he placed those icecaps, glaciers, and any fossils he put just to fake his existance.
fizzer:..says, "It's really too bad you coudn't put a higher resolution camera on that plane.".........haha........Easily the snottiest comment i've seen all year.
Maybe not the best hike ever, but certainly enjoyed your video, as someone who would love to go there. Thanks so much for your wonderful work...

I'm so glad you went to banff. I have been there many times and it is nice seeing a Tf00t video about it and it's area.
tf00t, the helicopter tours over that area are amazing!
I was there about 10 years ago. It is amazing how much the glacier has receded.

Best hike ever is in Yosemite. You already did it.
What about those moving rocks in death valley?

And so we learn about the secret life of minerals. :D
Tf00t's plane looks like a wildhawk without the paint.
fantastic
Where's the old video where you explain the inner workings of your plane, and what you'd do differently today?
I never realised until now that a fillet'o'fish in a bap was a religious icon!
Maybe not best ever but I really enjoyed it.

I agree that it was over-sold. VERY beautiful indeed but there are much better (and longer) hikes.

"Yeah, the question mark is there for good reason."
Is the "y"?
actually, everything has it's own gravtitaional field, but I get your point ;)
windrunner, if you visit America you won't find the landscape in today's video, Tf00t was in Alberta when he filmed this, this area is west of Calgary

I wanna see a show called Thunderf00t on discovery channel

So has Thunderf00t. That's why the ? is in the title of this video.
Those silly YECs probably think that slow movement over centuries doesn't equal great distance over millennia.
Damn straight! XD

Gawd it looks like Middle Earth.
Lmao, they blot out the sun.
