I cant help but be stressed by the fuel consumptions on all these travels, but I still love to follow along as a ghost watching the awsome landscape. nothing beats a thunnerstorm with rain and strong winds, in the middle of nowhere.
I was on a plane flying west out of Chicago that evening at 38K feet. There was a storm front as far as you could see with lightning striking constantly. I finally understood the line from John Denver's song "I've seen it raining fire from the sky".
the very last clip of the lightning strikes in slow motion were awsome! to se how fast they travle in comparison to the car, and the music made the clip even cooler:)
Yes there are badlands in Drumheller, but they are isolated along the Red Deer River, and are not continuous to the others further south. Same geological formation probably.
Good job! An incredible drive, to be certain. Driving through the northern midwest during heavy cloud formation is nothing short of breathtaking! I have never seen so many amazing sights in such a short amount of time as I did during a recent car trip from Minneapolis, MN to Flat Head Lake, Montana. Anyone who opts to fly such a journey instead of driving it is truly missing out.
Great video. I really wanted to go out west this summer but ended up driving up through new england to Arcadia National Park. I really loved the cloud cover shown. Ever since I moved to where I am now (outside of DC) there hasn't been one decent thunderstorm like I am used to. Too bad it wasn't a tornado, that would have been awesome to see.
I like how you slate the girl behind the counter and then drop the bollock big style lol nah great video arranging my trip to the us and ive gotta go there
@YashinNashi My comment didn't post the first time I hope I'm not spamming. I believe he is in fact at Theodore Roosevelt National park in North Dakota. And yes we can read, the annotation wasn't there at the time. BTW not as confusing as eight kings named Henry.
i was almost hit by lighting in a storm like this, it hit the ground about 50mtrs away, it was the tree it hit or me not much else around,, lets say i was back in the car quick,
@B1ackHayabusa it's a joke ;-) He has, shall we say, a history of this sort of thing. I remember he once actually slept on the edge of a cliff. I think he secretly enjoys making his subscribers dizzy.
Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt served 1901-1905. He died 1909. He was the 26th President of the United States. Franklin D. Roosevelt (Known as "FDR" here in the States) served from March 1933-April 12, 1945. He died in 1945. The United States was in WW2 from 1941 to 1945. FDR was the president who died in office during WW2. The female ranger at the park was correct and you were not. Sorry, lol!!! I was able to correct Thunderfoot!!!!!!! YaaSSSS!!!!!
@painterQjensen your average bananna will probably travel further, i wouldn't worry about thunderf00t in his little car (being overtaken by everyone ;P)
@darthspud1983 right :D I can understand you like trance but the stuff that is out today is 100 times better then this crap. If you look at my most recent video you see a track I made with a friend. It was some sort of satire based on this kind of music ^^, I always thought taste was a universal thing, you know, if you have taste for lets say paintings you will have taste for music etc. I guess I am wrong :)
I'm confused. Clearly that's Franklin D. Roosevelt National Park. Why does he keep calling it "Theodore Roosevelt National Park", even when he criticizes a girl for not knowing what he himself doesn't seem to know either. Am I missing something?
You seem not to have any fear of height do you? My testicles start to feel funny while watching YOUR video. Seems like my mirror neurons are doing more work than they should :(
@LynxChan Good point! surely if there was a god then it would be very easy to smite TF with the perilous cracked cliffs and a minor landslide, a freak gust of wind or even a well aimed bolt of lightning? Surely nothing would annoy a jealous and pernicious god more than an atheist? The growth of enlightenment, sorry, atheism is proof of the lack of or impotence of (a) God?

I love the smoothness of your video.
the very last clip of the lightning strikes in slow motion were awsome! to se how fast they travle in comparison to the car, and the music made the clip even cooler:)
I love this channel. Good stuff sir!!
I like how you generally cruise in the right lane, too.
Yes there are badlands in Drumheller, but they are isolated along the Red Deer River, and are not continuous to the others further south. Same geological formation probably.
great time lapse towards the end! hope to see more soon!
I was so engrossed in this vid (especially with the Trance) that the lightning flash made me jump :o
DUUUUUUDE! It's like you're in Fallout!! Awesome!
Cool Thunderst0rm. And I think that techno seems to match the fast driving action.
for all those asking for the song, I believe its Kay cee - Sunshine
Excellent video, what was the music? I loved it.
Cool video!
What camera did you use to record the high speed footage of the lightning at the end?
Looks pretty awesome bro!

8 people fucking hate Teddy Roosevelt.
Amazing !!!great work. :D
Nice Video.
What is the song at the end?
Look it's Thunderf00t and his car "Lightningrod"! OMG that was close! Storms scare me.
Where did you hit the storm at? I have hit a few of them on I90 also.
Wow, that lightning was pretty close!
They obviously get some bad weather in the badlands.
Ok time to fess up what was the names of the songs used in this video and the last one you did on beautyintheuniverse, cause they rock haha.
Great video. I really wanted to go out west this summer but ended up driving up through new england to Arcadia National Park.

Actually that would be I-94, not I-90. This is one of the most beautiful spots in North Dakota!
Ok I'm confused. Your description says "Theodore Roosevelt" and the Google Map says Franklin ("FDR") Roosevelt National Park, which is it?
@RndmG He further compounds the error by saying Teddy was prez during WWII.
To be fair, I made the same mistake... when I was 10. ;-p
wow that park is big park! what city is it in? Is it bigger than central park?
:PppPPp
@YashinNashi My comment didn't post the first time I hope I'm not spamming. I believe he is in fact at Theodore Roosevelt National park in North Dakota. And yes we can read, the annotation wasn't there at the time. BTW not as confusing as eight kings named Henry.
The mighty forces of nature.
looks like a great place to just sit and view and take in a fifth of jagermeister
Which pixel was Thunderfoot? After the Lord Mayer's Show comes the.............
Only messing, nice one TF.
@LynxChan
He's not trying to. He's just having fun.
wow in the US you have so few fuel pump stations, am I right?
Franklin Roosevelt died in office during WWII not Theodore Roosevelt.
@bigstephano haha, awesome, have been looking for this video for a bit, love the lightning footage at the end..^^
Thunderf00t: Holy fucking shit!
It's just like my childhood all over again... My boring, boring childhood.
looks like a good place to go slinging.
you drive like me, in the slow lane with everyone passing you =P
Great video as ever, but stay away from the edge of those cliffs already!! :-D
lightning never strikes the same place twice my arse! I saw it hit the same spot atleast 4 times lol
close?
Nah, it's not close until you can smell the ozone.
what's thunderf00t's background? he's a boss
2:34 Ha, right to the edge. A man after my own heart :)
think thunder just got that poor women canned O.o
You're a pretty sporty guy for such a nerd, you know that?
You made Thor angry!!!
i was almost hit by lighting in a storm like this, it hit the ground about 50mtrs away, it was the tree it hit or me not much else around,, lets say i was back in the car quick,
@azaz129 Aah, just saw the annotation, though the description is still inaccurate.
You should check out Radium BC.
He was not Pres during WW2 as you said at: 1:26
Wow
I wonder if he said Theodore while talking to the park ranger? Whoops.
The lightning was God's attempted at smiting thee Xp
Maybe I should be a materials scientist. You get so many damned vacations.
@revenez in THAT part of the country.
Thunderrrrrrrrrrrrrf0000000000000000000000t.... did u smoke u some gangja right before the thunderstorm??? HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!
nice video of gods work coz he did all that btw XD
@B1ackHayabusa it's a joke ;-) He has, shall we say, a history of this sort of thing. I remember he once actually slept on the edge of a cliff. I think he secretly enjoys making his subscribers dizzy.
You seem to get overtaken an awful lot :P
Google Earth says it's FDR National park...
@jebus6kryst Aha yes now I google it I understand the joke. Never heard the term limy before, assumed it was an insult of some kind. My bad :)
Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt served 1901-1905. He died 1909. He was the 26th President of the United States.

THUDERFooT!!
Arr, thar be thunder afoot...
@painterQjensen your average bananna will probably travel further, i wouldn't worry about thunderf00t in his little car (being overtaken by everyone ;P)
Next you'll confuse Lloyd George with Winston Churchill... Nahhhh.
@darthspud1983 right :D I can understand you like trance but the stuff that is out today is 100 times better then this crap. If you look at my most recent video you see a track I made with a friend. @uthamal He always stands on the edges of huge drops in his videos.
what does TF do for a living?
@darthspud1983 So true :p
@Terje1337 nvm, thats not true either.
Holy Fucking SHIT!!! @ 5:23
I think he meant WW1 ;)
COME TO CANADA! I CAN GET YOU SET UP IN AN IGLOO IN A PRIME LOCATION FOR POLAR BEAR SIGHTINGS!
@nemo3590
He's muddling Teddy and FDR.
Oh please no more jumping around on cliff edges.
@wrongwayup its gonna backfire one day
@dlhitch2007 mmmm - that's what he said.
I think you mean franklin Roosevelt
I'm confused. Clearly that's Franklin D. Roosevelt National Park. Why does he keep calling it "Theodore Roosevelt National Park", even when he criticizes a girl for not knowing what he himself doesn't seem to know either. Am I missing something?
@bigstephano Kay Cee - sunshine (take u there)
You travel alone
@jebus6kryst hes english to start with.
You seem not to have any fear of height do you? My testicles start to feel funny while watching YOUR video. Seems like my mirror neurons are doing more work than they should :(
God's wrath?
Thunderfoot, you are incorrect. Franklin Roosevelt was president during WWII.
@meloveanna science
@eksyte lol
@devdred I guess that means that for an omnipotent being, He has a lousy aim.
Stop. Standing. On. Ledges.
@Terje1337 But that too is false.
The growth of enlightenment, sorry, atheism is proof of the lack of or impotence of (a) God?
too much hair
Jesus is lord
Yup, that's original. You think by telling yourself that over and over again is going to make it true? That's the true delusion
