no matter how high rank your cores are, with a clueless support and useless drafts you can almost never win dota games, Especially in a very high mmr bracket games. Supports are the pillars of the game from laning phase till the end, supports could literally solo win games in high mmr games that's how high a support impact is in a game.
Hear me out, i've watch Nigma's everygame, every series for the past 5 years.
When they 1st created Nigma, their draft was purely confident on player skills, they often allow enemy to counter pick their cores, thinking they can still win by skills and teamwork, but often failed, miserably.
After that they switched things up into 1 hero pool mid/carry, where they discovered a single suitable hero for cores, and draft or adjust a around that single hero, also failed miserably.
And now, after Sumail join in, we as fans finally get to see a versatile team Nigma where they play many more heroes, more flexibility
But what went wrong for these TI qualifiers, major qualifiers, from what i see, kuroky try to use 1 man voice in current dota match, as in the whole squad act and react according to kuro 1 man voice, they often 5 man into unfavourable situation, or dies 1 by 1 from "save yr teammate syndrome" it might be due to their friendship with each otherwas too strong too u can see sometimes even Miracle tp mid to help and dies
All and all, looking at team spirit then look back at Nigma, and current dota games, is more likely to play "5 individual, plan and adjust during the game" then "1 man voice, everyone move according to the planned chess move from beginning"
Hope kuroky realise that current patches dont allow "plan upfront" as unexpected things could happen in game. Thru out it all, their draft now is great
Not to mention only Nigma that can make superstar player look so bad.
-MC stand in for OG, He performed better.
-Miracle stand in for mid team Shopify rebellion, he still performed better.
-SumaiL joined Chinese team, he performed so well even with language barrier.
But Imagine, ATF. He Played so good with OG, nad just won major. And then he joined nigma -->suddenly he bacame inferior player ( i don't know what kuroky's think to make ATF play not as pos 3 but as carry). And then Atf playing in Falcons now stomping everyone.
In my opinion related to Nigma's problem:
The problem isn't the players (since they always had all star players to begin with). The problem is the brain that organize this team why the players become so bad in their performance. And we all know tho the brain is xD.

I think the problem is , they all known for Legend
besides kuroky absent at ranked that makes his pick looking like old Dota2 patch
the enemy never going low for Nigma, they do all out for fighting Nigma
that is why some Legend usually retire, enemy will always put eyes on them
just like how OG and Tspirit win TI twice, they didnt showed up on Major or Minor
and making brand new strategy for TI that makes them unpredictable
while Nigma always join any tournament available, and some of their player didnt queue for Ranked to keep their skill at the top
Besides the draft looks so dumb even for Ranked
almost all of them has been known for their gameplay
how miracle play, how sumail play, how the rest nigma players play
team composition didnt suit well in the Nigma
Miracle and Sumail play super aggresive
while GH now playing passive
MC always getting weak offlaner to initiate the war
while kuroky always out of position every time
I highly doubt that explains their present lack of success when they havent had any success in over 4 years. Other good teams dont even get to focus them most of the time because Nigma doesnt even make it to LANs.
Miracle's years got wasted playing for Kuro.. Matu proved himself with his succeeding teams almost winning championships.
I've watched nigma for years and i could see how Kurokky fell in love with miracles gameplay after Frankfurt major and ti. He changed the way the team plays and focused on 1 carry 4 sups strats instead of playing like every other team where all their talents get their opportunity to play their roles normally and play heros they wanna play. It was horrible watching those talented players always being underfarmed and sacrificial, it was decided that they give %60 of their talents. While miracle had to give %260 and that's only to match the 500/500 of the other teams. Miracle mostly did not disappoint, however the pressure on him was insane. Teams could figure that out easily.
Matu, w33 and ILTW could've risen high but kurokkys tactical mindset ruined it for everyone. It destroyed their reputation and then their confidence and definitely effected their passion to the game.
RIP nigma
nigma should disband for good so that miracle, sumail and gh can join other good teams, get good chemistry with new players and find motivation to win again
i dont feel bad for miracle anymore, hes stupid enough to stay with kuroky and ruining his own amazing dota2 career.

i respect your point of view, but in my opinion, Nigma's fall is totally because of lack of mentality. since Kuroky is the so called captain, he has to take most of the blame.
I tried to play devil's advocate in Kuroky's favour at first when people used to blame him. But i stopped, after seeing the true-sight between OG vs Liquid in TI...when Kuroky said to MC, "i need you to play tide like Ceb does."...imagine you are playing in TI finals and you are told by your captain how to play your role. Compare that with any of the lines of Ceb, you will see the difference of what a captain can do for his team. Kuroky feels like people has to respect him for what he has done for the dota pro scene, and yes Kuroky had a big role during the start of Dota, and maybe he deserves that respect of being a veteran in dota scene, but respect is earned, not asked.
He truly should retire and give his team-mates (old & new) a chance to shine who are younger than him, instead of dragging the team to defeats after defeats just because he needs to earn validation.

@ashrafzaman2577 I agree that Kuro's ways aren't the most positive to his team, but they used to work, his drafts sometimes destroyed teams, and sometimes fall way behind on the meta, but that has always been the case, I just don't see the chemistry they once had, their unbelievable sense of teamplay is almost non existant nowadays...should Kuro take the blame for that alone, i don't know. Maybe, but a team consists of 5 players, miracle has lost them games because of stupid positioning, sumail has lost favorable mid lanes, mc has had zero farm, the only guy that jas consistently been a positive is gh
@@GamingBallistic yes, i agree with you...i think if u are picking up Captaincy role, when the chips are down, facing critics becomes part of your job....and as far as mistakes are concerned, every player does that bro, we are all human after all. But best teams tend to keep consistency regardless of the meta, cz adapting to different scenarios is also a very important skill in the game. Think of Team Spirit, how they are dominating for years, even after kicking their star mid-laner TorontoTokyo and still keeping up with other big teams. The difference always comes on that mentality and team-bonding....and "captain" has the most important role in that aspect of the game.
otherwise, changing players after players in Nigma would give at least 1 good result. and good can be very relative, i agree. but at least finishing in top-3 in any tournament seems like impossible for them. As a Nigma fan, i feel hopeless supporting them...i accept the fact people do mistakes in games, even top players like Miracle-Sumail etc....but i can't just accept the fact that they will dominate once ice-frog drops a good meta that suits them!
@@ashrafzaman2577 100% agree, they haven't adapted well to new patches for 5 years now, which is embarrassing for a team with such a caliber, we've all burned out of Dota but on that level I think the consistency comes from mental fortitude, which they lack. And yet you didn't mention the real problem, besides kuro being divine is that Miracle is so unbelievable mediocre, everygame he just gets outfarmed by ta2000 it doesnt matter if he is free farm with some speed farming hero as luna or sven, he always have 1 item less than him and then ta2000 just ends up forcing tier3 and barracks because he's just stronger than Miracle. No surprises everyone there shined in other teams like mc, ammar, sumail, even gh i think but Miracle went to Shopify and basically ruined them, something that nobody mentions because everyone seems to want to pretend that didn't happen, but he made Shopify from being a decent winner bracket contender team to get them out of the group stages when he was a stand-in
Nigma is a team with S-tier mid and hc players (Sumail x Miracle), stuck with a player that should not be in the competitive scene no more.
Sometimes they can carry games because they are skilled enough despite the handicap, but until Kuro steps down, no matter what they do they'll continue to be a Tier2 team like they've been in the last 4 years.

imo, nigma didn't get weaker. Its just that other players/teams caught up to them. There are so many talented new players right now. I think fanboys of miracle and sumail just see them always at the top. And I think the fanboy glasses is blinding them to see other talents across the dota 2 pro scene. Don't get me wrong. They are still top caliber players but not the best of the best right now.

Nigma pos 5 is kinda clueless. You need a very good pos 5 to dominate the game. A player that can impact the game with very little resources. Why do you think falcons, GG, tundra are doing so good? Their pos 4&5 players carry the game in the first 10 minutes which makes it easier for their core to play the game. Supports need to see the whole game and anticipate stuffs before it even happens. Their movement on the map is very important early game. Just my 2 cents tho. Im only divine not immortal btw. 😂😂😂
The last time Nigma was competitive was in 2021 especially during the Animajor. After that it's just copium.

I don't think its because playing aggressively is now more "punishing". You can see teams like Gaimin, Falcons and Spirit - all of them very aggressive teams - do exceptionally well in almost every single tournament they are in. They rotate a lot more, they dive more, they use twin gates more than any other team, and they keep winning with their strategy. So it's not a strategy issue. Rather a skill issue.
Im gonna venture out and say: All of these players - including Miracle - are simple past their prime and not as good anymore as they used to be. Maybe they got complacent. Maybe the bulk of dota pros simply caught up to them in skill. Maybe they simple got older. Maybe a combination. But the simple fact is, they're not as good anymore relative to all other players, whether it's in pro matches or in pubs.
And they're not the only ones that had this happen to them. One of the biggest falls from grace has to be NothingToSay IMO. He went from winning his lane almost every single time, 1v9 with a last pick tinker, putting the team on his back and being super stable, to now making dumb mistakes in pretty much every game, some of them game losing (and i mean things like refusing to press BKB against telegraphed stuns and dying without buyback, aggressively pushing on a squishy hero without buyback when the entire enemy team is missing and his team is nowhere close to help him, etc.).
Dota pros very rarely keep a top performance throughout their entire career, especially if it lasts for almost 10 years like in the case of Nigma players.
Miracle is actually okay rn, still stomping pubs with pros to this day

if you look at pro winrates over a long period of time you will see that Miracle's isn't really better than others' (As evidenced by the fact he isn't nowhere close to the top of the MMR leaderboards).
so what if he can go 36/0 on invoker once in a while? We can see that from countless pubstars too (like, say, Satanic). In Dota, consistency is key.

Wings was still the best team comparatively to ever play dota. That TI, it looked like they were playing pros vs amateurs.
Its sad that they fall so hard rn.. they play really bad and dota2 pro scene currently has many amazing players + teams compared then.. so the point is Nigma got weaker and other teams get better...
if fbz get out ant their ego come down or sumail leave with fbz, that will make a diference,, gh and miracle are playing on point, and kuro is not playing that bad i thing,, im rank 500 soo mi opinion maybe is trash but shure is better than most i think
kuro need step down. but the prob is kuro is commander in this team and good commander but he very bad at supporting after that 2019 ti . they need new good support with captain tier if kuro step down or its just same weak nigma.

they are all the problem. im a gh and miracle fan, but all of them are the problem. watch their positioning, it's a mess. and Sumail is not a fit. they need a carry/mid player like miracle. so they can switch roles like what they did with matumba.
my opinion is incline with your, nigma by nature is very agresive team, and now dota is so much easier to punish agresive team, nigma did try to change the and play more careful, but still they always bad at picking their team fight,, nigma rarely lose laning phase, often winning,,, and it didnt translate into mid game. why ? of course bad call from kuro or pos 4. and miracle farm is to agresive.. roster change doesnt solve the problem,, just need better aproach of the game,, and kuro play more more more pubs.. so get their confident back when gank call,especially in transisition to mid game
Miracle is super greedy player, and independent one and nigma play around that gameplay. Unfortunately the big patch that was 3 years ago change Dota into a new perspective, where carry heroes are shit nowadays.

any 4-5k mmr guy can play better then kuroky. I have been wathcing TI tournements since TI 2 and I can say that easly kuro worst dota2 pro player. He does not have any significant play. Gh, midone, matu, w33, sumail and ofcourse miracle played many times significantly but that shit can't event play any hero correctly.
They dont need to prove their selves since they already won Ti! Were supporting nigma because of sumail specially miracle. I wont lie im a miracle fan boy.

When they were Liquid, 'kuro drafts bad' wasn't a thing, wee has 3 heroes and that was the patch they were all good, meepo, ta and wr, despite all that he still got slapped 4times in the final...wee is not good

Winning 1 TI doesn't make players like Kuroky a good player/captain...Forget the plays... He's like 80% out-drafted most of the time, like... it's always so old school... so... yeah.... i blame him for everything... 🥲
