Started to hear a grinding sound, before i could do anything, huge bang, lots of grinding, and I couldn't contol de car. lucky me I was stoping, if I were on a highway... I just hope neither the engine or the transmition are broken. No need for videos on that, way over my league. Keep up the good work, and better luck with yours.

I'm in the shop, it's a big room with tools and noise. and I'm on here every 2 seconds in the search like mk4 dash vent this mk4 switch /console /cupholder that 🤣... I'll pick away as much as I can right now as it's late. I'll watch the dash removal vid at home later. Right now I'm having too much fun with half a million torx bolts everywhere 🤣 I took a tour of the factory in 2005, a dash went in a car in like 30 seconds 😝

How do I take the front part off. The actual holder is not in my car it broke, so all that is left is the black part you touch to slide it out.
What if I accidentally pushed one of those pins on the side in? now its gone behind the plastic and I cant see it!

Rinse with some soap. Dry it thouroughly and then use some alcohol (70% pure alcohol) to rub the last bit off

no no no, the trunk light, the one that starts when you open the trunk door. on the right interior panel. (sorry for bad english.)
AeroStance Extremely easy, locate the light and stick a screw driver in between the cover and the light itself, it should come out fairly easily
