I worked with the majority of the Coppersound staff at Guitar Center before they made their first pedals. Great guys, amazing knowledge, and they all even have great senses of humor. This pedal was a huge step forward for them in terms of design and development, I'm so proud. Especially since I know Alex has always been the biggest Jack White fan I've ever met. Alex built me a one of a kind big muff style fuzz early on that I'll treasure for the rest of my life, I can't wait to pick one of these up to pair with it😈
Have you seen his guitar? Incredible. This is a man innovating guitar tech like no other. His textures are so cool, I'm glad he made a pedal to help get that sound.
I have always loved Jack White, he has a really unique playing style and his major influences from elder Bluesman Son House create for a really unique sound
He very well could just do 12 bar acoustic blues and we'd still listen to it, but instead he builds off his influences and we'll always be grateful for that.

Jack White is among the most important guitarists and songwriters of the last twenty years. Ty Segall is another extremely amazing artist from the last decade, people really need to get hip with Ty Segall.
He is a corporate tool. My generation has so few guitar heroes... The corporate overlords allowed Jack White & John Meyer to fill the position as token guitar players. If there was healthy competition, they'd be much less famous.
@@creamydistortion I won’t speak to the veracity of that statement, but I’ve seen Ty play in the crowded living rooms of my friends - I think he might be a good artist to look into if you don’t dig corporate stuff.
Momentary/unlatched switches are a wonderful thing. There are actually plenty of effects that could stand to have a momentary switch. Virtually all ring modulators and bit-crushers can use one, but so can delays and especially modulated delays. I've built a few delays with the PT2399 delay chip, that included what I like to call a "punch-in" footswitch, that allows me to feed content to the wet path on a riff or even note-wise basis, and have whatever I've fed play out without adding anything new to the delay path. I've also included a momentary LFO footswitch, so that I can insert modulation when I want, or defeat it when I want.
Wow! 😲 Great sound(s)! Nice design too. Here's a question: When both side-bands (octaves) are off, does the middle button still kill the dry signal? In that case, the _whole_ signal. So can one use it to do the Tom Morello thing? 🤘
I really love how you simultaneously take your job very seriously, but can also make fun of GuitarTube with some self awareness. Really enjoy your style :)
@Evan Kellison nonsense. People are not so derivative as you assume. I would've said jack white and not a song or album and I've been listening to him since his first stripes album.
Evan Kellison - Jack is a bandleader who writes material people enjoy and therefore any Guitar Olympics-level judgment of his lead playing is somewhat missing the point. I would have to say White puts the song first. Even to the extend of playing very rudimentary things intentionally in many cases. It's great on a song like "Level." He also thinks a lot like a drummer, in a good way...

This is like a polyphonic octavia with really refined tonal qualities, great attention to detail, always thought momentary switching sounded useful for vibratos and that kind of stuff, didn't realize how cool it us to individualize your up and sub like this with a perfectly great fuzz included.
