6:31 not only does it take off the mental load but by the time we want to prepare the meat, the meat is marinated well and the end product tastes better.
Love your videos! Thanks for the rec for your friends vegan blog 😊 In the summer I get cases of zucchini, tomatoes, corn, red peppers, mushrooms, etc. I’m looking forward to using freezer meals to use these up. I’ve found in past if I put only the single ingredient I never use it for a meal or I have to make a huge effort to meal plan to use it. It’s better to have it in a freezer meal ready to cook or eat! I would love a use it all up summer garden freezer meal video😊
Another reason to cool your rice (and/or keep cooked rice in the freezer): From the U.S. Natl Inst of Health: "Cooling of cooked starch is known to cause starch retrogradation which increases resistant starch content." Basically, freshly cooked rice is non-resistant starch; cooling it makes it a resistant starch, which is much better for insulin levels. I try to have rice in the freezer or fridge for this reason. And if I need to make some for dinner, I try to make it early in the day and chill it before reheating with dinner. HTH
Sorry we haven't found one. It's from Pampered Chef and it's been discontinued. We're keeping our eye out for a similar one because we love it so much!
I made this one! I bought the fabric for it last summer and finally got around to making it a few years ago. I have always like using aprons, but once we started filming regularly, it was an excuse to get more. 😏 The last I counted, I think I had 13 or 14. Obviously most people wouldn't have that many aprons. haha
LOL! I'm using "jarlic" now to make garlic bread to freeze. Do you have a French toast casserole recipe? My husband bought 6 loaves of "day old sub bread from the local Jimmy John's. I need recipes! It's hard now and I'm trying to get creative with my foods and using leftovers. Thank you!
Are you in the FM101 Club? I’d look it up, but CookingwithCat… probably isn’t the name 😂. Anyway, in there, we have two. One is a mixed berry french toast casserole and the other you can also find on our public site. I’ll grab the link for you. Hold on…
Hello from Central Alberta! Our main website is www.freezermeals101.com. You can find meal plans in our shop. We also have an Amazon store here: www.amazon.com/shop/freezermeals101, however, it's only on the American Amazon. I'm guessing you're from Cambridge, England, however we also have a Cambridge in Ontario, Canada and there is a Cambridge in Massachusetts. We have viewers from everywhere, so you really could be in any of the three! Welcome either way! We can't have a store for more than one country unfortunately, so we went with the American version because that's our biggest market. It's sort of crummy because we can't even really use it in Canada very much, although a lot of the products are the same in both Canadian Amazon and American Amazon.
I really want to try the Chicken Street tacos but can't find the recipe in my Freezer 101 Recipes. New to Club so might be me. I'm adding recipes to my 1st Meal Plan. There are so many so I add them as I hear you two talk about your favorites.
They are so new that they aren't in the Club yet. When we test a new recipe, we sometimes have to tweak it. Then we send it to our food photographer. She has to make it and get the photos back to us and then it can go in. It's in the queue! Sorry to make you wait!
"Easy there, Paula Dean" freaking killed me. I laughed so hard I scared my cat!
Haha. That made me snort-laugh.

You're right! I can't think of a single drawback of freezer meals!
You girls are having way too much fun!❤❤- love it!

A summer garden video sounds like a great idea! Thanks so much!

Good to know!
I agree with your husband! Chicken is not allowed in my kitchen, fridge, or freezer. Limited eggs. Also NO black pepper!
We do call them tetrapack in India :). I love watching your videos ❤
Oh cool! We found out it's the name of the company that makes them. So that totally makes sense!
Do you have a link for the measuring cup/ strainer you used for the beans? Thanks!

Christy, I just love all your aprons.. Do you make them yourself?? And, just how many do you have?? I only have 1.

Tetra Pak in Australia too

The French toast casserole is SOOOOOO cute!! It’s a ABSOLUTE must every time I do a mini session
Is there a individual chicken pot pie freezer recipe?
Yes! We just added one two days ago to the Freezer Meals 101 Club! They’re super cute and delicious.
Tetra pack in Australia too.
Cool! Yeah, it's the name of the company, so I guess it's common enough. We just sometimes get people asking what a tetrapak is. lol
What is your stores name ? Which part of Canada are you in ? From Cambridge !

Kristi if you will place a wet paper towel under your cutting board you won’t have to chase it around the counter anymore
Thank you!
🥰😍♥️
