I first discovered these markers while working. I work at a craft store and I had a customer come up to me to see if these worked on black paper. I was unaware - can’t wait to get my own batch.

I’ve not ever tried the Posca markers just simply because of the price. I just about broke down to buy some, when I noticed the Sharpie markers’ ad. Sooooooo……I love, LOVE these. I’m really impressed with how they don’t bleed through to the back and too, they’ve not bled as of yet. But thank you for this video, and too, I’ve never bought nor used any of the Sharpie Stained markers. So that will be on my next “to do” list. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this comparison!!!

I just got these yesterday after seeing a video on them!
A bit pricey per pack, but it's well worth the price! I was happy to see that they DO work on black paper or black cardstock, especially when I used the black marker on it! It's blacker than the cardstock itself!

Do they reactivate if water is added once they are dry? Im wondering if I can use them along watercolors.

Out of curiosity, I tried the bullet tip creative markers instead of brush tip. They are very flexible and can also be used for brush lettering. They have a smaller stroke and possibly less fraying with use. I haven't used them long enough to know for sure they don't fray. Thanks for the great review and comparisons!

My daughter and I used them on rocks and set the rocks outside in the elements and they still look very bright and like we did them last week! I have not tried a mug, but I am betting they will stay!!!

Aw that is so fun! I have heard if you use spray sealer on the top of painted rocks, it can help keep the paint on too! Thanks for watching!

I had to do a double-take when your video popped up because I've been wanting to see a comparison video! I thought it was too good to be true!
I'm only halfway through and already I'm commenting because these colors are so stinking vibrant! Mayhaps even brighter than my coveted Karin Marker Pigment/Decobrush marker Pro!! 😱🙉🙀 ( I don't remember the difference in what they are called; one of them is water-based watercolor and the other one is a paint pen.) These swatches are crazy pigmented and bright!
I've struggled to find Bright paint markers (with a brush tip) at this price point, so these might be worth a try!
Thanks for making this video, Suzy! 😊 @howtohandletter

Thank you so much for watching! I had to do a video comparing them to the Decobrush marker after this one because that's also exactly what they reminded me of! It made me like them even more because I spent a lot of $$ on those deco brush markers lol!

Thanks for the review. I like the Sharpie Stained size better than the new Sharpies. They seem a little hard to control.

I would agree with you there. I just really don't think anything compares to the precision of the sharpie stained stroke. The funny thing is, I'm pretty sure you're meant to use sharpie stained markers on fabric... which makes sense that they are so stiff and can take a lot without becoming damaged. Hopefully new sharpie stained colors will be the next update!

Are they tip to tip blend able like the Karin pens ? I have all the Karin ones but am always looking for cheaper alternatives for my 13 year old daughter x

Hello! I just tried it with the teal & gray colors and the gray took on a bit of teal, but it was more of a streak (like one half of the line was teal and the other half was gray). It only lasted a few letters so you'd probably need to reload somewhat frequently. Honestly, I think the crayola bold tip markers in the bright & bold pack blend beautifully if you're looking for an inexpensive option! Thanks for watching!
