Heyyy it’s me AGAIN. LOL. I can’t stop watching ur videos. 😂❤. I was browsing my calligraphy groups talk forum page and someone brought up the refillable brush pen from Tom’s studio. Have u heard of it? Know anything about it? Is it worth that price tag? Or are there any other similar things on the market that work good and more reasonably priced? I love the idea of being able to reuse ur pen and leaving less of a bad footprint on the environment. Let me know!
I hadn’t heard of it before but I went and looked at it. It looks amazing! My main problem with the brush tip is that it will get worn down. But I guess then you just buy a new brush tip and that’s more eco friendly than buying new brush pens. Ok there are some brush pens you can add the ink yourself from Kuretake. It’s not as fancy or eco friendly. I haven’t tried them but they are cheaper. Here’s the link: a.co/d/iSZdSZR
It feels like buying a $6 marker is so wasteful to my budget. But 40 markers is wasted space and brain clutter. I’m blessed enough to be able to afford single markers, and that’s my preference. I really don’t like buying sets anymore. I am like you, I use about 1/4 of what I have.
Quality over quantity 👌
Absolutely!!
Thanks for sharing these! Your handwriting is pretty lovely 🥰
Thank you!
That was so detailed and helpful. Thanks for the advice😊
I’m glad it was helpful!

Thank you for the video, all the tests and tips=3
Glad it was helpful!
This was so helpful. I am getting better (I'm a lefty) but my biggest hurdle is, I need to slow down and take my time.
That is definitely tricky!

Yes exactly!! And you know, I think there’s a lot of great $2-$3 brush markers that are a good balance.
Love the differences!
Thanks for watching!
