Inspiring Access: Introduction to Acting (BSL Flyer)

The Grand Opera House and Cre8 Theatre present this half-day intensive workshop ‘Introduction to Acting’, for members of the d/Deaf community in Northern Ireland.
This 3-hour interactive workshop is an introductory performing arts class aimed at those 16+ years interested in developing their confidence and their creative skills and offering an opportunity to engage with professional creatives.
The session will cover:
- Ensemble work
- Physical play
- Visual storytelling
- Improvisation
- Adapting script for BSL
There will also be an informal creative connections discussion at the end of the session where participants can have the opportunity to come together, chat and ask questions. The creatives will signpost participants towards further support and resources in the arts sector NI.
