Very well done review. I was not planning on getting this album, but you’ve made me reconsider. One little correction, the name of the singer that Paul wrote “Let’s Love” for, was Peggy Lee, (not Love). Peggy Lee was a very popular American vocalist in the 40’s, 50’s, and early 60’s and beyond.. Perhaps her most well known song at this point was her recording of a song called “Fever”. Lennon & McCartney were fans, and Paul has said that the Beatles recording of “Til There Was You” was based on Peggy Lee’s version. Anyway, just needed to make that little correction. Nice job though! Take care..
Thank you - I think I’ve misread my notes as I did have Peggy Lee written down, I must have somehow confused her name and the song title, so thanks for pointing that out :)
One hand clapping is a reference to the famous Zen Koan “what is the sound of one hand clapping?”
Probably you know that and were just being goofy, but just in case you don’t
Hmm…I have the album. Umm..it’s okay but I feel it doesn’t live up to the hype. I’m glad I have it but it’s not manna from heaven. I still prefer Wings Over America. Maybe I need to play it a little more. I agree with you about the ugly album cover. Whose bright idea was that?
I just hope it wasn’t Paul’s idea to make that the cover, but I can’t see how it would get out without his approval

Seems strange that he would go for a second rate cover.
BTW I have been watching your White Album clips and have been really enjoying them. It’s obvious that you put a lot of work into them. Great job.
@@ilabelle1 thank you - really appreciate that.
