no one else even comes close. the salafis constantly use narrations from hadiths, quranic ayahs, sayings of the scholars classical/contemporary. highly detailed. while the people upon bidah use thier emotions or some personal story '' i use to do this haram now i repented''. hardly use hadith or the quran to cite their proof, perhaps chuck one ayah or hadith in a 50 minute talk sometimes just take it completley out of context. May Allah unite us upon the truth and rectify the muslim ummah.

Indeed we should protect our deen and where we take our knowledge from. We wouldnt want our daughters to free mix with non mahram and likewise we should be more careful with our deen.

No one sends their kid to an unknown school with no investigating, where the teachers have some shady vague unverified background in the curriculum.
But too many think to educate themselves by going to vague gatherings with people calling themselves dawah this mufti that.
Almost everyone does that in the uk. You don’t even have much of a choice anyway. You have to go to a school in the catchment area of where you live

I've always noticed ikhwanis often tend to downplay the issue of free-mixing in a way which is borderline defeatism to Western cultural norms; it kinda gives people a false impression that there is some leeway for free-mixing if the situation demands it, when there is absolutely no evidence of that in the Sunnah, which makes it clear the great lengths the sahaabah went to avoid free-mixing - in fact, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said that a time will come when holding onto the deen will be like holding onto hot coals, which indicates that there is no leeway to be more lenient than how the Sunnah has set things for us no matter how the situation changes
The Quran is being burnt
May Allah make him pay if he doesnt repent and apologise to the muslims he spread fitna to. at the very least pay in good deeds

Asalaam ou alaikoum, but can you be a salafi or is there a salafi masjid without being affiliated with Spubs? Or is that a criteria
It’s not a criteria but allegiances and disassociation is from the religion. So question anyone who may say they’re not with spubs (or any Salafi scholar or teacher or Markaz for that sake) because if they were Salafi they would cooperate with their brothers or at least show approval of their Dawah. It’s not possible to have two Salafi masajid who oppose one another. One of them has to be upon haq because the haq is one
Why would a salafi claimant not affiliate himself with spubs? The Quran commands that we hold on to the rope together upon the truth!
Brother if you agree with the salaf methodology then your already a salafi but try to find the nearest salafi masjid to you.
You don’t have to be affiliated to spubs but it would be beneficial or any masjid who follows the salaf.

Focus your attention on learning the principles of Salafiyah, then you'll know who is following the Sunnah and who is not.
If you investigate the issues with a sincere heart asking Allah to guide you to what is correct, then no doubt Allah will guide you aright.
Accept the truth regardless of who it comes from and reject falsehood even if it comes from your most beloved, and remain humble knowing that Allah will hold you accountable on the Day of return.
May Allah guide us all to His Paradise.

and all we hear from one certain salafi centre is cussing every Muslim and labelling every Muslim who has a different opinion to the opinion of their centre. .

Problem with this approach, is that it causes even further division and hatred amongst the Ummah.
Instead of beautiful dawah to other groups, you condemn them.
They in turn condemn you as hateful fanatics.
The Quran and the Sunnah condemn other religions such as the Jews and Christians. The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم condemn the Khawarij and the Qadariyyah before they came about. The Salaf condemned the Rāfiḍah, the Jahmiyyah, the Mu'tazilah, the Murji'ah, etc. It's been this way for 1000s of years.
We must be detailed in our Dawah and not conceal the Truth from the people. In the Sirah we find that the Quraysh did not condemn the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم because he claimed to be a prophet or because he said worship Allāh. Rather, they complained that Muḥammad had reviled their deities and rebuked what their forefathers were upon.
Likewise, if we tell the people of innovation "worship Allāh alone " "follow the Salaf" "do much prayer and adhkar" the Sufi, the Ashari etc will have no problem with that. But will this general call clarify to them from their incorrect understanding of the Tawhid & the way of the Salaf or the reality of the innovations that they are upon? We must be detailed and clear in our call and clarify what the Truth to them and clarify the falsehood of what they are upon.
The prophet peace be upon said Islam will spilt into 73 sects. 72 will be in the fire. Yes division between falsehood and truth is great.
