@@joeyharper4483 I believe it does not matter whether or not you can hear well, the song is Still very beautiful and people may have had overly high standards for it. It's Taylor's song and Lana had agreed to sing what people think is such a little amount of the song. I also think that yes, it may be slightly difficult to hear Lana if not listening carefully or using headphones. (Coming from someone who has over average hearing.)
❤🌟 Dear Lana & Taylor, I vote for a second version please with a more interesting intro, Lana doing the bridge solo please so she has one solo, please add a little atmospheric drama as the song goes into the bridge to give it a punch and please turn the volume up on ALL Lana vocals so we can all hear you both perfectly singing together for version 2. The more we all hear this song.. The more we notice Lana is part of it throughout the song vocal wise but very low behind you, co-write it and it's her style wise. It's not the traditional way but I like it the more I listen to it. Please do the second version and put it up as a bonus gift or track to buy no problem. Thank you. ❤
As being a swiftie for long time , this is something new. Lana served those amazing backing vocals . And the whole feeling of this song is mesmerising.
That "Are we falling like" is everything. 💖 It's my favorite part of this beautiful song and the only line that I can say is clearly sung by just Lana.
Vocally Taylor is the beach and Lana is the LITERAL SNOW!!! The mastermind Taylor Swift strikes again!! Lana’s voice flutters, swirls, falls lightly, and spins throughout the song like snow…. On a beach:) It is weird(as evident by the controversy) but it is BEAUTIFUL!!!
It's great that we got a new version with Lana having her solo moments and it's really nice but I still love this one.The 2nd verse is my favorite and I love how Taylor sings it ❤
What’s funny is I streamed the album the first few times on Spotify without looking at the songs, and I thought this one was so much like Lana that Taylor kind of ripped her off 😂
I think the song is unique that way. Lana not having her own verse, but still can feel her everywhere. The way her voice appears from the 2nd part till the rest of the song makes the song sounds haunting, it's like she's a ghost and it's so calming Taylor did a great job as always, my favourite collab along with nothing new and exile
Though we don't get to hear much of Lana's lead vocals in this song, in my head I can hear her sing these lines. Her presence is everywhere in the melody, the theme and the vibe. Cool, refreshing way to collab.
Exactly what I was thinking! I think it would be unfair to give lana more lines because everything about this song sounds like a lana del rey song. It's an artistic collab not a vocal collab and it's almost like she is singing the whole song and also like she isn't singing anything at the same time! It's a really beautiful and harmonic way to go about collabs
I love this song. Snow on the beach is pretty rare. Its the salty sea air that melts the snow before it hits the sand. Its so beautiful to see it. Theres something lovely about the quiet of fresh snow fall.

Lana is all over this song! There is a subtle difference on some of the verses that you can’t even distinguish her voice but she pulled off mimicking taytays voice to match the vocals in this first version!
I love Lana. This song is so her. Her vocals make the song. It’s what sets it apart from the other songs! I’d love to hear her more in it. But I still think this song is sooo beautiful 😍
I think the artistry of this song is very successful and the blend of their voices work incredibly well together. Lana’s voice is like a phantom trace, like the snow falling on the beach melting into the sand. And yet it’s very distinctive and very well balanced with Taylor’s ethereal tone. their voices overlapped creates a wonderfully haunting sound.
After 2:00 I can clearly hear Lana's voice, they are just so harmonized together that some people can't distinguish between the two of them. And I think that the song is very beautiful!!! ❤️
The way they say the word "beach" is a bit of a clue. Their voices match really well but I think Lana's is more nasal when she sings "beach", just right at the end of the word you can hear the difference.
people are complaining that Lana has so little parts in the song but I appreciate how she just fades in and out at moments throughout the song, much like the person she is: she doesn't give a damn and just shows up when she feels like, she deleted all her socials except a private account simply because she doesn't want to do that stuff anymore, and that's the poetic part about her
Lana is literally singing for most of the song, it's a bit hard to tell the difference since she harmonizes well with Taylor, but she is singing for most of it, if not almost all of it
Didn’t expect them to collaborate, but happy they did. When she accepted the Billboard Woman of the Decade award, she said that you can hear how Lana has influenced the industry and how her sound and technique can be heard in songs and different genres. So in a way, having Lana on this song is like paying respect to her. ❤it.
@@Killformee Well considering Lana is backing vocals for 90% of the song, helped produce it, and helped write it? I'd say that's what a collaboration is.

Lana isn't in love with Joe so why would she sing those lyrics, lol? It's Taylor story so let her sing.
@@saltedcaramel88 this isn't the first time taylor has done it, and not just with female collaborators. Honestly, hearing their voices mashed up is much better than they both having their own verses or chorus
@@gia42472 then why taylor let phoebe "narrate her story" in nothing new?? phoebe didn't write a single word in that song but she let her "narrate her story" with her. most of those female artist you named have writing credits for their collab in Taylor's album but taylor only let them sing backing vocals and not have their own verse. meanwhile taylor let most of her male collaborators have a verse
@@saltedcaramel88 nothing new was less about a relationship specific to one person and more about the 'female artist perspective'. it's more relatable and general that way, probably someting phoebe have experienced too.
I was expecting a version from Lana. But their vocals combined together just did it for me. It was heaven
This song makes me feel like "everything will be okay in the end" ❤

I feel as if the reason people say they can't here Lana is due to how well they harmonized. I was clearly able to tell when she was singing and the song is so very beautiful. It's definitely one of my favorites on the album, greatly underrated if you ask me.
Blended
Not all of us have great hearing or the mental abilities to be able to understand the difference in vocals. I'm only here because of Lana.
(Coming from someone who has over average hearing.)
yah agree and they sound abit alike in terms of the smoothness
Thank you. ❤
snow on the beach ft. lana's spiritual presence
Lana's voice of Tay in this song is like a guardian angel, always there but never visible ✨

That "Are we falling like" is everything. 💖 It's my favorite part of this beautiful song and the only line that I can say is clearly sung by just Lana.
I have been searching for so long for just one person who realizes this❤❤❤
Vocally Taylor is the beach and Lana is the LITERAL SNOW!!! The mastermind Taylor Swift strikes again!! Lana’s voice flutters, swirls, falls lightly, and spins throughout the song like snow…. On a beach:) It is weird(as evident by the controversy) but it is BEAUTIFUL!!!
Her voice on the chorus is ADDICTING!!! I love it so much
Taylor is the warm sand & Lana the cold snow. Glad i'm not the only one...
It’s coming down no sound, just like the lyric says hehe

Lana put simple and poetic touches in the song and this is what makes me listen to it over and over again
It's great that we got a new version with Lana having her solo moments and it's really nice but I still love this one.The 2nd verse is my favorite and I love how Taylor sings it ❤
Yessss
Yep I too like the second verse here
This feels like a Christmas song to me. So cozy and mesmerizing. 🧡🌨️❄️

Yes, literally
If you can't hear lana, you're not a Lana fan. She's distinct in there. So beautiful
👌👌
Too powerful
I'm not even her fan but I hear her idk what's with people
What’s funny is I streamed the album the first few times on Spotify without looking at the songs, and I thought this one was so much like Lana that Taylor kind of ripped her off 😂
...yeah, I am no fan and indeed I can't hear her. I think I only recall like 1 or 2 songs from her.
I think the song is unique that way. Lana not having her own verse, but still can feel her everywhere. The way her voice appears from the 2nd part till the rest of the song makes the song sounds haunting, it's like she's a ghost and it's so calming
Taylor did a great job as always, my favourite collab along with nothing new and exile

Though we don't get to hear much of Lana's lead vocals in this song, in my head I can hear her sing these lines. Her presence is everywhere in the melody, the theme and the vibe. Cool, refreshing way to collab.
When lana did the vocals it makes me think of the chorus of 'West Coast'
🙅
@@Allyssa2002 Mee too!!
Exactly what I was thinking! I think it would be unfair to give lana more lines because everything about this song sounds like a lana del rey song. It's an artistic collab not a vocal collab and it's almost like she is singing the whole song and also like she isn't singing anything at the same time! It's a really beautiful and harmonic way to go about collabs
i feel like the vibe is lana, and i can hear her vocals blended in, i think its clear lana had input into the song. truly beautiful
i think featuring an artist doesnt always have to be them have a portion of the song, it can be how it was produced and how it sounds.
The name "snow on the beach" alone gives me shivers. SHE'S A GENIUS

And every Lana fan can hear her "beaCH" etc and make out her vocals
Still would've loved to hear her a bit solo as well :P
Their voices mashing together is magically beautiful..
I think the artistry of this song is very successful and the blend of their voices work incredibly well together. Lana’s voice is like a phantom trace, like the snow falling on the beach melting into the sand. And yet it’s very distinctive and very well balanced with Taylor’s ethereal tone. their voices overlapped creates a wonderfully haunting sound.

the prettiest song ever, the harmonies from lana are so ethereal
people are complaining that Lana has so little parts in the song but I appreciate how she just fades in and out at moments throughout the song, much like the person she is: she doesn't give a damn and just shows up when she feels like, she deleted all her socials except a private account simply because she doesn't want to do that stuff anymore, and that's the poetic part about her
TRULY, XoxO

Lana is literally singing for most of the song, it's a bit hard to tell the difference since she harmonizes well with Taylor, but she is singing for most of it, if not almost all of it
They harmonise so well and I'm reviewing it on my channel
Didn’t expect them to collaborate, but happy they did. When she accepted the Billboard Woman of the Decade award, she said that you can hear how Lana has influenced the industry and how her sound and technique can be heard in songs and different genres. So in a way, having Lana on this song is like paying respect to her. ❤it.
Is this even a collaboration fr?
@@Killformee Well considering Lana is backing vocals for 90% of the song, helped produce it, and helped write it? I'd say that's what a collaboration is.
The lack of Grammy success for Lana is a travesty. She is defo one of the most influential artists of her time ❤.
Lana said she actually did sing in this song, but she was mimicking and then layering with Taylor's voice all throughout the song, so we are listening to Lana from the start.
Only true Lana fans know that her vocal is throughout the whole song.
