Flores, McCown & other Vikings coaches looking to move up the ladder have all been spoiled by having owners who don't interfere with the football operations on a constant basis. The Wilfs aren't a complication in their lives. Furthermore, Flores, McCown et al. have been spoiled by having Kwesi A-M & KOC, who are truly professional leaders who encourage independent thinking, creativity & growth...bosses who don't put their ego as their primary/only priority. In contrast, most of the struggling franchises looking for GMs & HCs have owners who constantly have their noses up their GM's/HC's you-know-what, and/or are always searching for attention from the press & prone to shooting their mouth off about sh*t they don't understand. I get that Flores, McCown et al. are really good leaders & have ambitions, but IMHO, they'd be nuts to go to the teams that are/will be searching for their next victims...errr...new GMs/HCs this off-season.

The Bengals, Bills, and 49ers could have openings next year if they have disappointing seasons (and disappointing playoffs for the Bills). If I'm B-Flo or McCown I'd hold out for another year and see which one of those jobs opens. Any of those would be WAY better than going to the Jets, Bears, Saints, Raiders, or Jags. But I'm not going to get my hopes up too much. That said, if we lose B-Flo and Saleh doesn't get an HC job, I hope we bring him in as DC.

Doug Pederson is a great offensive mind. Be nice to have an additional offensive mind to the Vikings think tank.

Here’s what we should cover. Who do we get if Flores or McCown, etc leaves

Rob Saleh, or pray someone working under flores is ready to run his scheme.

Bobby Boucher should be the linebacker coach if you ask me.

Why can coaches, assistant or otherwise, leave to take another job while under contract? Never understood this in sports. Players cant just up and sign a new contract with a different team while under contract with one.

I'd like to look into Staley/Saleh if Flores leaves, hopefully he doesn't though. If we end up needing offensive talent, and it lines up in the future, I wouldn't mind the Wilfs helping out old friend Kevin Stefanski.
Also, good to see the OU gear again. Boomer.

Id be curious to see how Kurt does in an outdoor cold weather home stadium. I dont think hes got the arm to do it anymore. Could be a catastrophic failure if he ends up in Cleveland

If ATL cuts Kurt and eats the dead money similar to what the Broncos did, then it's a no risk high reward to take a chance on him for the Browns.

If Flores does leave, who do you think is most likely to replace him? Could Rob Salah be a candidate?

It would be a big hit to our potential if we lost those guys

Rob Saleh is over rated. He had a great defensive talent with 49ers which made him look like a genius.
