Thank you for being one of the only news organizations covering this side of the issue. I've spent most of the last year with Anthem trying to kill my husband by denying medical necessity for lifesaving treatment, only giving us higher opiate doses to endure the pain as his body fell apart. We finally talked them down from hundreds of thousands to our entire savings + my cancer patient dad's retirement money. We might go medically homeless in 2025 as Anthem keeps misfiling its paperwork to draw out the appeal cycle. I've had no practical recourse beyond spending 10-20h on the phone every week begging Anthem in appeals not to force him to die. The people profiting from this should be in prison.

What sparks the anger, is that the healthcare insurance companies is even worse than people thought. And one of the companies turns out to be extremely greedy and careless.

one CEO lost life and goverment spent resource to find the person faster than when a common person is shoot. Then we see these CEO that are just people robbing the common person and then killing them when they get sick. Same on the goverment, people hinding behind companies, and us for by into the lies. This is our country, this is about our lives, and at some piont we need to stop giving these people money when they are not doing the right thing. For this reason no one should be punished for one CEO's life being taken and the system needs to be fixed were life comes before goods.

Right? I'm a New Yorker. The subway stop where that woman was horribly immolated a couple days ago is part of my regular commute (3x in the last week). And there'd been a fatal stabbing there not that long ago. That station has long been known as one of the few truly unsafe places left in NYC and we all have to keep our head on a swivel there. For the amount we spent on this hunt, we could've probably had a visible permanent presence on that stop protecting New Yorkers for the next few hundred years.

It is not nuanced. It is not complicated. The issue is simple: when will the ruling class of America stop worshipping wealth!? And that includes the media.

One side of this argument is "Violence is only permitted by authorized agencies.",
Authorized agencies include, government, Healthcare Insurance companies, police, ..not Luigi
