The adopted couple made me cry!! When he said “I don’t know if you’ve been complimented before but you should have been” and knew she deserved to be complimented was beyond sweet and caring :) such a nice moment.

Yeh but you have to be careful over sharing with a guy and one who too readily knows the right thing to say should be a bit of a red flag.
It was very sweet when he said she should have been complemented before, but I actually disagree with The underlying message with that statement. He’s complementing how attractive she is and saying she “Deserves“ those compliments because of her physical appearance. So if she had the exact same personality but was an ugly girl, then she wouldn’t deserve it. I’m sure if this scenario was presented he would say the “correct“ Thing by saying every woman/person deserves to get compliments. But the truth is, he wouldn’t be giving those compliments to someone he didn’t find physically attractive whatsoever.
So I’m not hating on him making those compliments to her, I’m just more of a literal person and I don’t agree with him saying that she deserves to be complemented based on her appearance.
