- I built this SICK HOMEMADE BACKYARD BAIT TANK/ LIVEWELL for the fish food and also fed the Peacock for the FIRST TIME on camera! This will enable me to have easy access to LIVE Bait Fish right here in my backyard, and for those who have a pond or are in the process of building one. This is something that will come in handy... A good tip for beginners:
If you go to buy a pet fish, make sure there aren't any dead or dying fish in the tanks, types of these fish mean that they aren't treated well, and have a more likely chance to die more sooner. Hoped

Already made that mistake. As a beginner I thought there were unpopped bubbles on my fishes fins until I did more research and found out it was ich.

Fill that up almost to the top and it will create more pressure in the tank and force more water up and out the filter for better filteration, and acts like an aerator as well!! Keep up these awesome videos

I’m started getting in love with this hobby during this difficult time it’s really depressing being alone at my house. A good friend of mine offered his 3 gallon fish tank even I’m not into it cause I don’t know if I can take care the fish but surprisingly got my first fish which are black skirt tetras and the next day I bought guppies I’m liking it and decided to upgrade to 10 gallon hoping to get more I have my 45 gallon fish tank now I’m planning to get cichlids soon

Amazing job on feeding the fish! I've known for more than 5 years that pet stores rarely feed their fish as much as they need too. It's sad :( Also congrats on the amazing bait tank! That's the best tank for bait fish I've ever seen! You've just earned a new sub 😊 My only recommendation is to not keep the food in the sun, as it can go bad after a little while. Overall, amazing job!

Put a foam filter around your intake of the filter or you will be cleaning it and it will be stopping at weird times. They make they make them, inexpensive, that will fit your tube. Your pleco will keep the foam clean.

Should have cycled the filter and acclimated the pleco and you should wait a little bit before getting a pleco because of the algae unless you feed algae pellets

You should have aklamated that pleco be for putting in the tank because you could have sent it in to a shock which could have killed it

You do realize that common plecos grow over a foot at minimum and poop a lot so they aren’t really good cleaner fish.

maybe put some gravel and more decor to spice the live well up for the baits that are going to be fed to the giant fish and make it look better please if you do see this Paul Cuffaro please think about it .

Abigail spectacular I know that’s why I would put them outside in the 50s so they would be fine then I’d put them in my basement in winter.
