I have a female Rottweiler and she is 17 years old she passed away a few weeks ago though she was there when I was born
Rotties are so gorgeous.... its a shame so many people are afraid of them, not realizing how smart and loving they really are....
Bad experiences due to idiots not raising and not training them properly has left a pretty bad and undeserved stigma.
And it's a shame; cause treated and raised right, they're without a doubt, the most dependable, loving, loyal, intelligent dogs you can ever have the pleasure owning. From all the Rotties I've known I've never had one go bad.

I have my Rottweiler for 17 years she was there when I was born but she passed last week because she couldn’t walk and she had a tumor in her spline
I had to put mine down at 10 years due to arthritis. Meds stop working. Did yours have that problem?

We lost out big boy two weeks ago I miss him so much he was a pleasure to have bonded with. I wasn't a fan of rotties,until my cousin offered us a pup, thunder picked us, our little chorkie mothered
him. Very intelligent and loyal dogs .

Everyone is focused on Mom and Dad and the babies changing, acting adorable and observing their looks and habits. All I can focus on is the puppy breath that I KNOW they had! :)
That was amazing. The amount of growth that these dogs go through in a short amount of time is astonishing. By the time they are six months old, I can’t even distinguish them from adult dogs. Thank you for sharing this and for educating those of us who don’t have a Rottweiler!❤

I’ve had the blessing to have 4 of these wonderful dogs in my life and can say without a doubt that they are in my humble opinion one of the best family dogs in the world. There is nothing like the look you get from your friend when you come home and the Rotty ear shift when you are talking to them. We are down to one dog now and his days are coming to a close as he is 14 himself, my wife thinks I’m/we may be to old for another Rott, but I love them so much anyway thank you for posting your family for us all to see. I just lost my five-year-old Rottweiler to a protein disease she was five her name was Nyla and she was the sweetest thing on earth. This is my second Rottweiler. My Rottweiler name was Mufasa. He died at 10 years old cancer. I need to stop watching these babies because it’s making me wanna get another one but I can’t afford it it’s too expensive today, but your dogs are beautiful all of them and thank you for sharing
It's July 8th and about 2 weeks ago our Rott Zuri had 7 girls!! A first for us. An All Female litter. They are so Cute! We have 5 Rottweilers. 4 females and 1 male. Love this Breed. ❤

My parents have been golden owners for 40 years, 10 years ago I got them an auddie/catahoulan mix who became their favorite of all time. I've been recommending a rotty for a while now as their old golden is getting near his time. Can't wait to show my mom the skeptic this
ive owned 4 Dobeies over thirty years and i love them all and their own little ways , I had to have my rotty doby cross put to sleep today and i will never forget her she was so devoted and loving .

My EX-inlaws had Rottweilers and the one thing I observed the most was how much they watched over the family. As in who was meant to be there and who was just there to visit. Extremely observational dogs. If they saw you were interacting with the family they would interact with you. If not they would just sit back and watch you. Just to let you know I'm watching over my domain and my humans so don't mess around here.

I've had couple of German Shepherds a Boxer and a Great Dane. Never had an opportunity to have a Rottie. Would love to have one some day.

I agree 100% - a barbaric tradition that only recently is finally being banned in many countries. For all the comments about how cute they are, still somebody could do that to them - a strange way to show one’s love, no?
