Great, have fun. I didn't paint my version as the tissue paper I used worked fine but you can obviously paint off whatever paper you use to 'mache' over the model. Good luck
I'm going to make that! It's so simple and turns and that it looks so difficult but it isnt in my musical I have to play Wednesday so tysm for doing this idee
Amazing work! I just don't get the last bit, did you cover the fingers with the same paper you used to hold the fingers? And what did you paint it with? Can I use any acrylic paint? Thank you! :)
Hi there, I’ve used the same cheap ‘natural’ tissue paper to mache the whole of this with watered down PVA. I haven’t painted mine but you can use whatever paint you like as any will adhere to the tissue, water-based or acrylic is fine. Have fun. x
it would yes, it would stick stuff together fine, the issue comes when you 'cover' it over. Sellotape is obviously plastic, so if you add a layer of tissue paper over the top like I have you'd have to make sure the PVA was strong enough to stick the tissue to the plastic, trial and error, should work though. 👍
mine was just the 'natural' tissue paper colour, but as its just paper, when its dry you could paint with pretty much any paints you choose, water-based or acrylics.
Hi there, this is just natural unbleached tissue paper, the kind used for packaging or from florists suppliers. I use this a lot as it's cheaper and it is also a nice neutral colour. 🙂
