I'm not sure. I do videos on how to make beautiful useful crafts and other items by upcycling plastic and other waste. I dont think it's the type of thing people would pay money to learn. I love making these things but dont think its it's something people will Google to solve a problem. Any suggestions on a course idea for something of this nature?

This is the most REAL version of what the work is going to be like. Most people make it seem like you can just throw up a course but really you need to invest in several videos, ebook, PDFs and even a few other valuable pieces of content to attract buyers.
I have been thinking about creating my online course about uni life/how to choose a career etc. And this video came at such a perfect time, giving me an extra push. :)
I've been creating courses on Skillshare and making around $200-$300 every month without even marketing them! That could be an option for you if you don't have a huge audience, I made a video about it on my channel if you want to learn more about what I did, I think it can work as well in other platforms like Udemy
Aha Moment -- I've been wasting my time with paid ads on social media. Lots of leads, but very low conversion rates. Why? People aren't looking on social media to learn how to do something! That's the key. I know that I'm here on YT right now to learn about how to sell my courses on YT. So I'm proof positive that you're right. I use YT all the time when I want to learn how to do something.

I hear all sorts of ways to build ones channel. I have 2500 followers and 125 videos. I would really like to grow this year in numbers and financially. What are some best steps for me right now?
I have someone handing me the opportunity to open a brick and mortar school. I would much rather build it online but, that's stepping from the known out into the unknown. There has been so much trial and error in trying to figure out the right avenue. I turn away as much business as I take in eith my face to face business with no time to take on more. That's one of the reasons I teach, because there is SO much business walking out the door. Just can't quite get my groove online. I'm getting there though, slowly but surely.

So one step could be How to find your strengths? Or a video could be How to create a clear goal? Would you have examples that solve a problem for my niche? Thanks!
Hi! I've launched my course pre-sale and it's going pretty well. I'm working on completing the course now and realizing that I may have under priced it. Is it ok to raise the price later - maybe after the launch date?
What is your course about? You can choose to raise the price but that could hurt your credibility... What you can do instead is segment the information into different categories (if possible). What I mean by this is if you can categorize it as more advanced information where you go more in-depth and offer additional support and upsell it at a higher price point.
