"There are groups of people with interest contrary to yours...its just that simple!" I have been struggling with a way to sum everything up FOREVER... and there it is. This blow my mind.
I have heard few, if any...other hiphop artists that could get this message across...it is in the back of so many minds, but getting out with it is so terrific.
Hip-Hop is so important, true Hip-Hop is the music of any people in the struggle, whether it's a civil rights movement or personal troubles, Hip-Hop is a social balm for the broken mind.
It doesnt matter what skin-colour or origin u have mate, knowledge, intelligence and all that are universal, as humans we connect through our common interests. Thank this medium that gives us the possibility to hear inspiring men like him speak! Peace
I understand where you are coming from but not everyone is called to be what KRS is, he is the hip hop messiah, the chosen one. It would be like saying more people should have been Dr. Martin Luther King in the 60s. There are few in the universe and history who are as articulate and insightful as this man.
Nothing wrong with that. Hip Hop bred a new culture, with that comes a new dialect. Its no different than people saying "like" or "feel me". Even in Native Languages we have words we say occasionally that are along the lines of nah mean.
Respect To the Great KRS- One And The Late Great Scott Laroc!! Go Check Out The New Profound Artist Scott Laroc's Mixtape on Datpiff: Search Defining Me!!! You Wont be disappointed!
You should have to listen to this course in order to take part in Hip Hop. These rappers now have no respect for what people like Krs-1,Cool Herc, and Bambaataa accomplished. HOMAGE is overdue.
Amazing!! This inspired me to produce a beat with parts of the teacher's speech from this video. Check it out on my channel. The beat is called "Lessons".
Peace, love, unity, and havin' fun, these are the lyrics of KRS One!
