so many phones. i miss the time when you had to use payphones and when you went to a concert you listened to the music and diddnt worry about making a viral tiktok.
Taking a video doesn't take away the feeling of a live cocert. You can look back at it and feel again the way you felt when you were at the concert. Most times people won't be able to go to their concert again. Times are changing, things are evolving so let's evolve with them. And those videos can be shared with people like my that lives in a teeny tiny country that most bands will never visit. I'm glad I get to see this live even from someone's phone 😊

Or humans often wish we could life past memories, and you can do that with a recording. And a reason a majority of people upload concerts is so other people experience them too. It’s practically everyone in the crowd holding one. I sure hope they didn’t watch the entire concert through a phone screen, and put it down at some point to experience the live as it should be. That’s practically no different than watching the live at home on the television. I also feel like, if I were the singer, to look down and see phone backs instead of the faces of my fans would be a bit disappointing, concert culture is really different with the new generation.

I think if I paid to see a concert but only saw phones instead I would be a little miffed. I don’t think everyone needs to have a video of the same concert, somewhere on the internet you’ll find someone with the exact footage of what you saw. I think taking a picture of the event with you in it is pretty much enough to prove that you were there.

That way I can record and have the best possible view. I like to rewatch concerts and relive my experiences. Of course, you could always pay a lot less for GA. You get what you pay for.
seriously. i went to this concert in central park october 1st and it was fucking horrible solely because of the “fans” - 90% of them were tiktok girls that looks 14-16 years old and all of them had their fucking phones up THE ENTIRE CONCERT! there were a few girls like in their 20s who were getting pisses off at all these little girls having their phones up THE ENTIRE HOUR! no joke it was one of the worst concerts i’ve ever been to because of the “fans”
I seriously can't even finish watching this. The idiot kids yelling out the lyrics completely ruined the atmosphere. It's a shame that the younger generation doesn't understand how to be respectful to the performers on stage and the other guests around who came to hear them. There's a time and a place to sing along at shows, and this wasn't it.
