Some fabulous memories, great sing along songs. My friend Frank Parkins and me used to see the guys at Gregsons Well each week, fantastic nights which live long in the memory. Thank you The Spinners. Never Die.😁
So enjoyed this. Was a massive fan back in the day and can proudly say that The Spinners were the only group I ever saw live twice. Had all their LP’s. Such fond memories. This is what the internet was made for ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Saw them live at least 10 times at Birmingham Town Hall, I developed a taste for Canadian Club whiskey after meeting Mick prior to one show in a pub across the road from the Town Hall, can't find it anywhere now, the good old days.
Wow! Thanks a million for posting this. I have always followed the Spinners, even attending their "Farewell Tour". People seem to forget how popular they really were. I bet the BBC could release loads of footage and programmes of these lads. I still have many of their LPs and a couple of CDs.
Gosh, this takes me back, seeing the Spinners at the Free Trade Hall in Manchester. I had the good fortune to see Mick and Hughie in Devon a couple of years ago. Both still have good voices.
Thank you so much for putting this up. It's a shame the Beeb don't share their back catalogue of Spinners material with us. There must be quite a bit of it.
My mum was a friend of Tony Davies wife beryl I think she was a bridesmaid at my mum and dads wedding Tony was so tall when they came back to the house he at to duck down it was back in 1953 I was born a year later in 1954

Went to see the Spinners a couple of times as a kid with my mum. Loved to watch them on a Saturday night on TV.

Oh the memories! Thank you so much for sharing this ❤
I grew up listening to the spinners, my children also know and enjoy many of their songs. For me they were a fantastic introduction to folk music
Used to love watching these.

Everyone, please vote for the Spinners DAILY starting now through Friday, April 28th so that they get inducted into the 2023 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
