Thank you Dom for reacting to my request... You're right with saying Vanessa has the edge because she doesn't just hit the note but sings in that note..
Both have crazy belting ranges. But the unique ability to sing words and not just hit notes with power in a C6 is beyond crazy. So it would be Vanessa just on pure talent and difference to any other singer on planet earth.
@@KajiVocalsi think neither do both of them belt using chest voice and truly impossible to belt beyond 6 octave....both of em mix 100% for sure...purely mix
@@richielee9838 I ain’t talking about C6. Tiffany mixes her entire range. She never belts. The only belts she has are the short fourth octave in Total Praise.
@@KajiVocals for that,yes... that's a different between both of them.... Vanessa can belt and Tiffany master at mixes...btw,what vocal classified for Tifanny?
I think, having power and such a full warm tone, at such a high range is much harder. So you could easily say Tiffany wins for that reason actually. That being said, I appreciate both. I don’t have an exact preference.
Please let's give tiffany mosely her flowers. She's earned it. I don't think we know what it is to sing a whistle register in a natural pitch and hold down the notes in a stretch. Its a lot of work and tiffany mosely does that effortlessly and the expression doesn't to show on her face. PLEASE GIVE TIFFANY MOSELY HER FLOWERS. SHE'S EARNED IT.
Vanessa hands down. She has great control and a really beautiful lower register as well as being able to clearly sing words when she’s right up high. She also does amazing runs. I’m not so familiar with Tiffany, but at times she sounds like she’s screeching. I’ll have to check her out singing some gospel and try not to compare her to Aretha. Personally, I don’t like comparisons.😕
But Vanessa has sounded like she’s greeting plenty of times, lol. I don’t remember which song it was, maybe natural woman, I could barely finish that one.
@@Rosannasfriend Seriously? I think Vanessa’s version of Natural Woman is phenomenal and I know I’m not alone judging by reactions to it. I guess at the end of the day it’s all about personal taste.
That's exactly what I was going to say: Vanessa's voice, when she gets to the high notes, becomes more like an electric guitar than a human sound. Tiffany has a gospel/Aretha quality, but on balance, I prefer Vanessa's voice.
I like Vanessa’s raspiness! Tiffany Mosley does have that power thoo. I prefer Tiffany’s … I think in some of these clips specifically, Vanessa didn’t have as much control. Some of the runs got sloppy after she hit that top note. Tiffany remained consistent to me.
Tiffany reminds me of Jennifer Hudson's upper belts with much better control and more range. She has a bright brassy/whiney tone. I would describe Tiffany's tone in this part of her voice as brassy, while Vanessa's is metallic.
Is tifanny a sopranino or soprano🧐 her mix in the 6th octave is really crazy, I've rarely seen anyone mix that high like tiffany except for deniece williams
Sometimes with Vanessa’s high belts, I think I can hear like a ringing whistle tone over the top… that’s the only way I can describe it. A bit like when a bell rings, there is the main noise/note but also the extra ‘ring’ in the ears
tbh I don't think anyone needs to pick a side, there's very few singers who can actually sing like this, they should be treasured, no sides should be picked. Patti, Aretha, Vanessa, Monica Naranjo, Nikka Costa, Diana King, Jennifer Hudson, Erikah Badu etc. Those are your girls. They should all be adored because those are the type of singers who don't come around very often.
Also to add that the clarity of Vanessa's voice can't be compared to Tiffany when the audio quality is bad, Tiffany's power still soaring high even in bad clips.
Yes, Vanessa is a fabulous high belter. But I think the best belters are Celine Dion, SohYang, Katrina, Velarde, Regine Velasquez, Morissette, Amon, and Faouzia. Just my opinion. Maybe floor jansen comes in somewhere. For me, it’s just about the impact of the belt, not just how high they can go.

I don’t see the point..... do we go to hear a guitarist play his highest notes and hold them for as long as possible, or do we want to hear music ? Great high voices with Tiffany winning for her gospel and soul like tones..... Vanessa maybe gets higher but it sounds less vocal and more organ / synthesised. Listen to an Opera trained super high soprano....... but they don’t get the BIG bucks, the sopranos in the lower registers are recognised as the better singers and superstars. Best male voice I ever heard was a base baritone....... hated his songs , style etc but man, that voice and POWER...... and he could sing everything in his opera range with ear splitting power..... never had to use his head voice.
Tiffany for me, It's just her zone was on the 6th octave. Vanessa was already struggling at Bb5 to B5 unlike Tiffany who's just phrasing them like nothing. The vocal battle is obviously unfair because they chose some of Tiffany's worst clips
Keep in mind most of these comments will be biased toward Vanessa, because were more familiar with her. I’m going to keep my opinion as open and objective as possible. I trust your opinion about Tiffany being great. Somebody said that their ears prefer Vanessa‘s voice, but the fact is you have to know Vanessa to feel that way, because she can get quite irritating, the higher she goes, which is natural when you’re belting high.
Vanessa had more rasp on that first belt, and I enjoyed her tone overall more than Tiffany’s on that first belt. Tiffany had more of a full voice, and it was more clear to me, by the fact that it didn’t have any rasp, but I see what you mean by Vanessa, having more clarity because she has kind of a brighter tone. So it depends what you mean by clarity.
Agree Tiffany Mosley is nicer to listen to and she touches you emotionally. Vanessa is like an unpredictable person about to scare the crap out of you with the unpredictability of her vocal choices but that leaves you uneasy when listening to her
The Vanessa girl is overstrectching her larynx, the higher she goes the worse it sounds ! She belts in mixed voice and that's why it's so loud she is cheating with her chest! You can only belt so high in chest, QUITE FRANKLY she sounds flat! Tiffany does it much more comfortably and without force! I believe Lacresia Campbell also had the ability to sing verses in the raptors! However much cleaner in my opinion!
WOW!WOW!WOW!... Phenomenal women, respect ladies...Nick love reaction. TM power, Vanessa precise both amazing...Peace👍☝️✨🤓

crazy that you haven't reacted to Vanessa singing Hero live at the Sydney 2000 olympics !!!!
Tiffany all the way her power is unmatched there is no comparisonthe audio isn't even clear on Tiffany 🙄❤❤❤
Celine, Dimash, and now Vanessa are the three people whose voices I’ve heard compared to guitar’s when they’re doing high notes.
true, but there must be more!
Not celine
Rachelle Ferrell for sure
You should react to Mari Hamada, she's the closes one described as guitar
