a teacher in my state has been “exposed” on the daily wire for emailing admin saying “restricting students from going to a (pro-palestine) walkout and protest is restricting their free speech” (which the daily wire calls “pushing ideology on students”) and now she will probably get fired. admin restricted students from saying anything about palestine and the litteral genocide going on so students could only say “we want peace” and even though one walkout/protest each year counts as an excused absense, this did not. this teacher is amazing, she has always stood up for what is right, and now she may disappear because of standing up for the rights of students and more importantly talking about the freaking genocide. none of us want her gone, but we don’t know what to do. right now we’re just trying to spread the word. if anyone has any ideas of what we can do to stop her from losing her job, please please let me know. this is so messed up

So unbelievably uncomfortable. Being queer disabled/neurodivergent, and socialist gets scary, you notice every little microaggression. I dont feel safe anywhere. Today in class with people who are supposed to be our peers and care for us starting making uncomfortable remarks. Feels like we dont belong anywhere. Ended up deciding they dont need or want our company and walked away. Dont think anyone noticed or cared. Crying in the back of the theater again
Tbh that debate really pissed me off. I hate it when people think they can just inturrupt others during debates. When I see people inturrupt others like that it makes me lose my respect for them entirely.
To elaborate, I hate it when someone asks a question then inturrupts the other's answer. Its very demeaning. I think people who inturrupt like that should just not talk, like ever.

So this one classmate is just in general a jerk. He's casually bigoted and even though my friends and I have called him out on it multiple times he doesn't stop. I have called him pathetic before to his face, which i already feel bad about it because even though he acts like nothing bothers him, i think insults sit with him. Today he was being a jerk about furries, so i told him if he was going to be a pathetic idiot, could he at least stop making it everyone else's problem. He just said "yeah I'm a pathetic idiot." And i feel really bad. He sucks but also i shouldn't have sunk to petty insults. sometimes yes but also no, for one I don't think the "mean teacher" who was low-key ableist towards me (autism fr fr) was acting in my best interest when she told me that I NEED to make eye contact, like NEED, or else she'd drop my grade, when talking to ppl about our BOOK REPORTS which does NOT need EYE CONTACT. I can’t really tell yet for my history teacher this year, but my history teacher last year was actually pretty cool.
My English teacher that year, on the other hand, spent MULTIPLE units in the class defending capitalism/ making nonsense critiques of communism and she knew damn well I was an anarchist which definitely made things funnier. We had a very passive aggressive relationship. Also, like her entire family are cops 😭

I've been recovering from Long Covid since June 2022 and living with the resultant chronic fatigue and chronic pain. Today was the first day since I became ill that I was able to go for a walk unassisted with my neighbour's dog. 🎉🎉🎉🎉 She's a jack russell puppy, light as a feather and fantastic on the leash. I basically stood on the grass as she zoomed around me, but I did walk to and from the park where her zoomies happened. The park was one street over. I walked there and BACK! I used to be a dog walker as a second job, and I have really missed being out and about with fur babies. I am REALLY tired and brain fog is rolling on in... BUT I DID IT!!! 😊😊😊❤❤❤

I'm glad all the students and specifically black people in that room were even an ounce of respectful to letting him speak because if they did get upset, he would've used that as proof that "black people are inherently more violent when they have more rights" which was literally what he was trying to prove.

You asked for this, so now I'm taking about Minecraft RUclips. There will be spoilers for Traffic Life/Life Series.
I love traffic life so much. Idk if you watch it but if you don't it is basically a series in Minecraft. Everyone in has a RUclips channel and they record footage and edit it down, so everyone releases one episode a week. They have one session a week where everyone's online. The world has a small border where everyone's close together. In the first season, 3rd Life, the rule was that everyone has 3 lives and when you're on your final life, you become hostile and need to kill the other players. Last one standing wins. They've had five seasons now, plus one April Fool's episode. Each season has a new gimmick, plus there's some overarching lore about why they're trapped in a death game. I don't think they planned to have lore initially, they're just a bunch of improv nerds who improvised their way to sadistic godlike creatures with a ton of eyes. It happens.
Background done on what the series is about. The most recent season my favorite Minecraft youtuber joined. Geminitay. She now has one of the highest average kills per season out of anyone in the series. And that's not even counting indirect kills. She got a secret curse late in the season that she needed to kill everyone. Once she killed someone, they were cursed too and needed to help with the next kill, so she indirectly caused a lot of deaths. They call her Geminislay for a reason. She made it to final three in her first season and only got out when the other two people left both were fighting her. I saw someone on Tumblr point out that because her online persona is part deer, the curse was perfect because of how many creepy diseases deer can get. I love deer, they're terrifying.

Lynching means a person was killed by a group of people, like a 4 v 1, and it also was planned/premeditated so it's wasn't an accidental murder. The word is usually used to describe a person murdered by a group of people solely out of hatred for the victim.

I wish it actually would be allowed to call situations like their were named in the beginning but not with the censorship around here, well at least not for the folks who make videos, the doobey-do still goes (for now). I want the True Crime Podcasts collect all the lynching, drowingins and somethings up because I feel like I used to think we're stuck in the 1950s in some circumsntances but these days I think people beahve and act as if they want (pre-)medevial tiems back.
